As soon as Prakhar saw the picture, he immediately called him.
The moment Prakhar's call flashed on the screen, Kunwar smirked.Muttering to himself—"A little bit of suffering is deserved, jaan-e-man…"
The phone kept vibrating, "Prakhar calling…"But Kunwar neither picked up nor responded.
A few seconds later, another notification flashed on the screen—"Where is Shrey, Kunwar?" – It was a message from Prakhar.
Kunwar saw it but didn't reply.
"You're doing wrong… He's innocent, harmless…"The moment this message appeared, a strange glint came into Kunwar's eyes.He smiled again but deliberately avoided replying.
"I won't let you do anything to him…"Kunwar stared at the message on the screen for a few seconds, then tossed the phone aside without a word.
Kunwar gave a slight gesture. The servant nodded and quickly poured an entire bottle of Dettol onto Shrey's wounded knees.
"Aahhh!"Shrey screamed. His whole body trembled in pain. He clenched his eyes shut, but the tears still spilled out.
"I'm sorry, sir!"The servant panicked and began pleading.
"How stupid are you? You can't even apply a bandage? Who hired you? Get out of here!"Kunwar's voice echoed through the hall.
"It's okay, sir… maybe it fell by mistake…"Shrey tried to compose himself, hiding the pain. His voice was trembling softly.
Kunwar gestured again.Another servant stepped forward and began bandaging him.Kunwar's eyes remained fixed on Shrey.
Meanwhile, Prakhar rushed out of the house, took Diamond with him, and dialed Advaith as soon as he got into the car.
"Yes, Commander…"Advaith's usual cheerful voice came.
"Where's Kunwar?"Prakhar asked directly.
"Why? Why do you need to know? Fallen in love or something?"Advaith teased, but the next moment, everything changed.
"Shut up, idiot! Just answer what I asked!"Hearing Prakhar's furious voice, Advaith froze. He realized something was very wrong.
"I'll tell you in five minutes…"He rushed upstairs, opened his laptop, and started typing into the tracking system.
A few moments later, his answer came—"Royal Villa… Kunwar is there."
Prakhar ended the call without saying a word. His face was tight with tension. He turned the steering wheel and drove straight toward Royal Villa.
Shrey's voice was trembling, but he still managed to say,"Sir, I don't think I can write today… I'll head home…"
"Ohh come on, cutie pie…" Kunwar said with a small smile, "I'm not as cruel as you think… Would I make you write in such a condition? Very bad thinking…"Then, looking into his eyes for a moment, he added,"Anyway, now that I've accepted you, what can I say…"
"No no, it's not like that… I was just saying… Please don't misunderstand…"Shrey panicked.
"That's okay… I'm Kunwar after all… the future king… so everyone thinks I'm cruel. Not a big deal…"Kunwar's voice cooled slightly."My bodyguard… he thinks I'm terribly cruel… what can I say…"
Shrey asked in surprise, "Who? Prakhar?"
Kunwar lowered his head with disappointment."Hmm… now watch, if he comes here, he'll say I did this all on purpose… made you fall deliberately… Tell me, am I really that bad?"
Shrey quickly said, "No sir… You're a very good person…"
A bit of relief came over Kunwar's face."Exactly…"
Then he added, "Anyway, I'll drop you home…"
"No sir, I'll call my friend…"
"Friend?" Kunwar's eyebrows arched.
"My brother… Pranay. I messaged him before coming, so he'll easily come pick me up…"
Kunwar smiled, but his fists clenched.
"But look, the weather outside is getting worse, it might rain anytime… And you know how unpredictable Mumbai's rain is… If the roads get flooded…? What if he gets stuck somewhere…"Kunwar said gently.
Shrey hesitated. It did make sense.
"And I'm heading out anyway… still, you wait…"
Shrey was quiet for a moment, then said, "I'll come, sir…"
Kunwar's smile deepened. "Come on…"He reached out his hand, and Shrey hesitantly placed his in his.
Kunwar supported him outside and helped him into the car. Sitting in the driver's seat, he gave a signal to the guard outside, and the car sped away.
At that very moment, Prakhar's car came screeching to a halt there. He jumped out and headed toward the gate.
The guard stopped him, "Orders from Kunwar—no one is allowed inside…"
Prakhar's eyes flared with rage, "I don't care about Kunwar! My Shrey is inside. Let him out…"
He shoved the guard and tried to enter, but the other guards blocked his way.
"Sorry sir, we've been given strict orders…"
"Shut up you bloody idiot!!" Prakhar shouted in anger, "I'm not stopping for anyone… My Shrey is inside and I'm taking him with me!!"
He yelled at the gate,"Shrey!!... Shrey!! Where are you? Come out!"
But no voice came from inside.
Prakhar tried to force his way in, but the bodyguards held him back.Their resistance only fueled his rage further.
"Get out of my way!"He shoved one, punched another. Now he was beating them one by one. Seeing Shrey's condition, he'd lost all control.
Prakhar was no ordinary man—he was a specially trained guard, capable of handling ten men alone. He was trained to stay calm in every situation, but when it came to Shrey, all rules flew out the window. All his rage was unleashed on the guards. They couldn't restrain him, and he rushed into the villa.
Inside, everything was eerily silent.
A servant was doing something nearby—Prakhar grabbed his collar and roared, "Where is he?! Where is Kunwar?!"
The servant trembled and blurted out the truth—"He… he's already left with Shrey… sir…"
Prakhar released him and immediately ran back outside.Light rain had now started falling. He looked once at the guard lying on the ground—he was still breathing but badly injured.
Wiping the rain and wet hair from his forehead, he jumped into his car and sped away.
While driving, he immediately called Advaith.
"What's Kunwar's live location, Advaith?"
"What happened, Prakhar?"This time, Advaith's voice was serious—he knew something was terribly wrong.
"He called Shrey over… He's injured…"
A long silence followed. Then Advaith said,"This is a trap, Prakhar… Don't go there—it's all part of his plan."
"Will you give me the location or should I do it my way?"Prakhar's voice carried a clear warning.
"Prakhar, you—"
"Yes or no?"
A few seconds of silence… then Advaith's cold voice replied—"Sending it…"
And that moment, Prakhar's car sped up even more.
Within moments, Prakhar had Kunwar's live location.A crowded area, full of traffic. The rain was now heavy, and the roads were flooded.
As Prakhar reached that road, he saw a long line of cars ahead.Honking was useless. He slammed the steering wheel in frustration and jumped out.
Diamond was in the car. He quickly wrapped him in a raincoat—Then ran, knocking on car windows one by one.
He knew—this was all Kunwar's ploy to torment him.
His hair was soaked and clinging to his face, clothes stuck to his body, but he didn't stop for a second.
Gradually, the traffic started clearing. Many cars moved ahead while Prakhar kept checking each one.
Then he spotted Kunwar's car in the line—He recognized it instantly.
"Shrey!" Prakhar shouted and began running—But as the traffic moved, the car sped ahead…Prakhar kept running behind.
Then his eyes fell on a taxi.He immediately knocked on the door—"I have an emergency!"
But seeing the girls inside, he paused for a second—"Go ahead…" he said, stepping back.
Then one of the girls rolled down the window—"Wait…"She smiled and said,"Get in… You seem to be in a hurry. You won't find any taxi right now."
Prakhar hesitated, then thinking of Shrey, said "Thank you" and sat in the front seat.He immediately pointed at Kunwar's car—"Follow that car…"
One of the girls in the back noticed his condition—Soaked clothes, panting heavily from running, holding Diamond tightly to his chest yet keeping him dry.
"Here, take this… you might need it…"She offered her scarf.
Prakhar politely declined,"Thank you, I'm fine."
"If you don't mind, may I drive?"Seeing the taxi move slowly, Prakhar asked.
"You? But…"
"Please…"
"Okay."
They quickly switched seats, and as soon as Prakhar took the wheel—The car began to fly on the road.
"Mister! If you want to die, die alone! We're still in here!"The other girl screamed from the back, clearly annoyed.
Prakhar didn't respond. He overtook Kunwar's car in no time.
As he turned off the road, he placed a few ₹500 notes on the dashboard and stepped out without a word.
"What a crazy guy…" the girl in the back commented.
"And hot too…"
"Shut up… Every guy looks hot to you!"
