Chapter 2 – The Collapse of Continents and the Rise of the Seven Crowns

"Sometimes a scream can split a continent. Sometimes a whisper can build a world. Mana was neither solely destruction nor solely creation. It was an infinite force, shaped by the will of those who chose."

Velmora was once composed of three colossal supercontinents:

Simaria, Xendral, and Oros.

These continents were more than just landmasses. Each was home to millions of races, a multitude of languages, countless deities, and endless wars.

Above all, it was in these three continents that the first awakenings of mana began.

And unfortunately, that awakening brought with it the greatest collapse.

🌟 The Awakening of the Saints

Those who first resonated with mana soon birthed a core within their souls.

In time, these cores expanded, spoke, and evolved.

And eventually…

they spilled out into the world.

Thus were the Saints born.

They did not merely cast spells with mana; they shaped it, spoke to it, and channeled it into reality.

Their core worlds were no longer inner sanctums—they became centers of power capable of anchoring into the physical world.

But the world was not yet ready.

The earth was fragile.

The layers of time and space were loose and malleable.

Mana, still a newborn language, tore through the soil as it passed.

Each battle between saints shattered not just cities—but entire continents.

Half of Simaria sank into the sea.

Xendral turned into a vast oceanic basin.

The heart of Oros… became an endless void—where even time refused to flow.

🧛 Noctavien and the Continent of Shadows

One of the first to rise in this chaos was the vampire race.

Born in harmony with the night, nourished by shadows, this ancient lineage quickly attuned itself to mana's dark frequency.

Noctavien, the first Vampire Saint and the world's first true King, not only bent mana to his will but connected his core world to the realm of saints, binding shadows to reality.

Thus, the first stable continent was born: Noctavaris.

This continent was sealed in eternal night.

Moonlight only shimmered at Noctavien's command.

The morning sun never revealed its full face.

🐉 Mierasal and the Flame's Transformation

The dragon race was innately attuned to mana.

Fire, earth, and spirit were one and the same to them.

But when fused with mana, their inner fire… erupted outward.

Mierasal, the first Saint of the dragons, anchored her core to the physical world and raised the second great continent: Solveran.

Solveran was a doomsday landscape: towering lava spires piercing the sky, floating stone islands, and rivers of flame.

It was not a continent—it was the echo of a dragon's wrath.

And once Mierasal's kingdom was founded, no race dared oppose her power head-on.

🕊️ The Era When Mana Hardened

As the number of Saints grew, so did the wars.

But at the same time, the world itself began to change.

The constant use of mana reshaped the very fabric of existence.

Time became more rigid.

The layers of space deepened.

The earth gained stability.

A Saint could now shatter a mountain, but not split a continent.

The world was donning its own armor.

And within this new armor, a new kind of power emerged:

Kings.

Each King-level power center was like a civilization unto itself—complete with culture, law, strength, and a core that generated mana.

During this age, nearly every Saint carved out their own territory.

Some sought unity with their kin, but greed prevailed.

They coveted each other's land.

They divided.

No one wanted to cooperate anymore.

No one trusted anyone.

Thus, every individual who reached the Saint Realm made it their first priority to anchor their core into the physical world.

This uncontrolled expansion…

unleashed an age of endless war.

☀️ The Angels and the First Unified Continent

After a thousand years of chaotic individual battles, it was the angel race who achieved the first large-scale fusion of core and reality.

With the emergence of their second King-level power center, the angels united, and together they raised a magnificent continent beneath a dome of mana: Cael'mira.

At first, the other races didn't pay attention.

But as the angels grew stronger and more united, they became visible targets, one by one.

Eventually, every King-tier entity either united their race through war or diplomacy.

Some fusions led to the near extinction of those races.

The world entered a fragmented order once more.

But there was one key difference:

The oceans were shrinking.

Each core fusion birthed new lands through mana's flow.

And these new continents devoured the ancient seas.

The world was no longer a stage for small skirmishes—

it had become the battlefield of survival and expansion.

🔥 The 7,000-Year Endless War

This new age saw every race fight to survive and expand their territories—

a brutal period that spanned seven thousand years.

Continents changed hands, shattered, and were rebuilt.

Mana lines were severed and reconnected.

Ancient cities were torn apart and reforged.

During this era, most of the smaller races perished.

Those who resisted were either wiped out or submitted to the might of greater powers.

In the end, only seven great races remained:

Vampires Dragons Angels Demons Elves Witches Humans

These seven mastered their mana, anchored their cores, and sealed their continents.

And thus, the final form of Velmora was established.

🌐 The Eighth Continent – Aetherra

Amid the mana-charged void between the seven,

a neutral land formed: Aetherra.

At first, all seven races waged war for control of this last unclaimed zone.

But as each of them fell back into conflict, suffering great losses, they finally reached an agreement.

Aetherra would change hands every 50 years.

And whichever race ruled it…

must uphold peace during their reign.

🌑 The Remaining Races and Balance

By the time the eight continents were founded, the remaining minor races had either been wiped out or subjugated.

Some still live free in Aetherra.

But across the other continents, they now exist either as full subjects or partial vassals.

Most no longer bear the names of their bloodlines—

but instead, the banners of the crowns they serve.
