Golden light erupted across the darkened sky, illuminating Sabaody Archipelago like a divine beacon.
Sengoku's body glowed brilliantly, his Mythical Zoan: Human-Human Fruit, Model—Buddha transforming him into a radiant giant bathed in holy gold.
"Justice will prevail!" he roared, his voice booming across the island as he vanished in a flash of golden light.
"Die, boy!"
Sengoku's massive golden form appeared in front of Kaito, his colossal fist descending with the force of divine retribution.
Kaito's eyes narrowed, his expression calm and composed. His right hand clenched into a fist, bones cracking as sharp ivory growths burst from his wrist and spiraled together, forming a gleaming weapon of bone.
Dead Bone Pulse – Dance of the Wire Flowers.
But this was no ordinary version of the Kaguya clan's technique — Kaito's control and raw power far surpassed Kimimaro's, his bone density infused with chakra and Armament Haki, hardening it into an indestructible weapon.
The blackened bone glinted ominously in the golden light.
With a faint smile, Kaito swung his fist forward, meeting Sengoku's descending blow head-on.
"Another ability?" Sengoku muttered with a sneer. "How flashy."
The two forces collided.
CLANG!
A deafening crash echoed across the archipelago. Ripples of invisible shockwaves spread outward, tearing through the ground. Cracks spiderwebbed across the island as debris and wind exploded outward, forming a violent sandstorm.
On Sabaody's outer districts, civilians and pirates alike fled in panic. Even the Marines began evacuating the remaining residents, knowing this battle could obliterate the entire island before it was through.
As the dust cleared, two figures emerged from the cratered battlefield. Gasps filled the air.
Even Garp, who moments ago wore his usual carefree grin, had gone silent.
Sengoku's massive golden hand was pierced straight through — blackened bone spikes jutting out from the center of his palm, crimson dripping steadily to the ground.
Kaito's strike had drawn blood.
For the first time, the Fleet Admiral faltered, eyes wide with disbelief. He glanced down at his wounded hand, the searing pain igniting his temper.
"Don't just stand there!" he barked. "What are you waiting for? Attack!"
The moment the order fell, the other Admirals moved.
Kizaru vanished in a blur of light, his lazy tone echoing through the air, "So fast… even keeping up with Sengoku, huh? That's impressive."
Golden photons materialized behind Kaito, and a finger of light pointed toward his head.
Pew!
A laser beam fired straight through Kaito's skull, slicing the air with a sound like shattering glass.
The beam struck a building in the distance, causing it to explode in a shower of stone and flame.
Kizaru's face flickered in brief surprise. "Elemental…? No, that's not it."
Before he could finish, Sengoku attacked again, his enormous golden fist tearing through the air with divine fury.
Kaito didn't even look at him. Instead, he lifted a hand toward Kizaru.
Invisible force surged outward — a wave of Conqueror's Haki so dense it manifested as a compressed blast of air. It struck Kizaru like a hammer, sending him hurtling backward through several buildings before he embedded into a wall.
Dust and rubble fell around the stunned Admiral.
Sengoku gritted his teeth and coated his golden fist in Armament Haki, the dark sheen flickering beneath the divine glow of his Buddha form. The wind howled around him as his strike connected once more.
But this time —
THUD!
The impact met something unyielding. Sengoku's eyes widened. His fist trembled, pain radiating through his arm.
Before him stood Kaito, now surrounded by a towering, dark-blue skeletal frame — an ethereal Susanoo-like armor forged from his chakra and reinforced with Haki.
"Another ability…?" Sengoku's voice came out low and strained.
From behind, a deep rumble echoed.
"Crimson Lotus!" Akainu's voice bellowed as a molten hound of magma burst forth, jaws blazing with searing heat.
The fiery beast lunged, its molten breath turning the air into waves of shimmering red.
BOOM!
The attack struck Kaito's skeletal armor — but the flames failed to penetrate. The dark-blue structure held firm, glowing faintly under the heat before snuffing out the fire.
A streak of light flashed, and Kizaru reappeared, expressionless but wary.
In that instant, Kaito found himself encircled — Sengoku to the front, Akainu to the left, Kizaru to the right.
A perfect triangle of Marine might.
Further out, Momousagi and the Vice Admirals stood ready, forming a massive outer ring. Their expressions were grim, eyes locked on the lone man standing calmly in the middle.
Kaito simply smiled.
"Looks like it's time to stop holding back," he murmured. "Let's raise the stakes."
He stepped forward — and vanished into the air.
In the next instant, he appeared high above the island, suspended effortlessly.
"Frozen Throne."
He raised one finger, and his chakra erupted. The temperature plummeted instantly, the once-humid air freezing solid. In seconds, the entire archipelago was blanketed in frost.
Snow began to fall.
From the heavens descended white crystals, swirling around Kaito before forming into a magnificent throne of translucent ice. Dragons and phoenixes were etched into its surface, gleaming faintly under the moonlight.
Sengoku looked up, eyes wide. "That's… a throne?"
The Marines around him could only stare, awed and horrified.
"It's freezing the island," Kizaru muttered, his usual lazy tone gone. "Comparable to Aokiji's power… maybe even greater."
Kaito stood proudly upon the Frozen Throne, gazing down at the world below — a king among mortals.
And with a single gesture, the throne began to crack.
The ice shattered into blinding light.
