Obito knew full well that he had only revealed the information to Danzo back then. Whether or not the two of them had actually participated, he wasn't entirely sure.
But that no longer mattered.
What mattered was that these two advisors were simply too much of an obstacle!
Even from the perspective of his enemies, they clearly were hindering Konoha!
"Senpai is such a kind-hearted person, someone who could even tolerate Danzo. He would definitely never take action against them..." Obito thought to himself, his gaze gradually hardening with resolve. "So, I'll bear the burden of being the villain!"
Homura Mitokado snorted coldly, "No wonder you're such a heinous criminal. Even now you still intend to divide Konoha!"
"Don't attempt to understand our intentions with your filthy heart. Even Danzo..." Koharu Utatane paused briefly before continuing, "Some of his methods might be rather extreme, but his love for Konoha is unquestionable!"
Hearing them mention Danzo, Obito's eyes flickered. You brought this on yourselves!
"Do you dare guarantee that Danzo has never done anything harmful to Konoha?" Obito provoked.
"I... Of course, I can guarantee that Danzo has never intentionally done anything harmful to Konoha!" Although she trusted Danzo, Koharu still left herself an out—unintentional harm didn't count!
Obito caught her meaning but didn't care. He glanced around and asked, "Is there a ninja from the Yamanaka clan here? Could someone please use the [Mind Body Transmission Technique] to show everyone the memories deep within my mind?"
Since he was so confident as to even offer his own memories, both advisors felt an uneasy sense stirring within them. But now, trying to stop him would only make them seem cowardly!
"I'll handle this. A regular clansman wouldn't be capable of such a task!" A firm-faced man stepped forward from the crowd.
"That's Inoichi Yamanaka, head of the Yamanaka clan!" Someone in the crowd recognized his identity.
As the head of the Yamanaka clan and an elite jonin who had even guided Seiki, naturally he could be trusted.
Inoichi approached Obito and placed his right hand on his forehead.
In an instant, a scene emerged within everyone's minds.

"Believe me because of my eyes!"
The Masked Man spoke in a cold tone as his pupils quickly morphed into a spinning wheel pattern!
"The Mangekyo Sharingan!" Danzo's eyes narrowed.
"Now you get it? I truly have the power to control the Nine-Tails!" said the Masked Man.
"Why are you telling me all this? Aren't you worried I'll call others to capture you right now?"
"I haven't misjudged you. I can see ambition in your eyes!"
"Then you may have misjudged!" As the words fell, over a hundred Wind Blades shot toward the Masked Man from behind.
However, the Masked Man seemed intangible, allowing the Wind Blades to pass right through his body.
"What?!" Danzo shouted in disbelief.
"There's no need to test me. I'm not here as a spy sent by Minato Namikaze or Seiki Shimaseki!" the Masked Man said.
"Hmph!" Danzo snorted, dispelling his summoned Baku and sending it back.
"Speak then, what exactly do you want?"
"I'm here to help you become Hokage!"
Danzo asked emotionlessly, "How exactly do you plan to help me?"
"I will summon and control the Nine-Tails to attack the Hidden Leaf. You can use this information to change your image. For example, you could predict in front of the Hidden Leaf elders that the Uchiha might control the Nine-Tails, or alternatively, prepare in advance to rescue people during the chaos and boost your popularity."
The Masked Man continued eloquently, "As for framing Minato Namikaze for the Nine-Tails disaster, I'm sure you're already well-versed in that strategy, so there's no need for me to go into detail!"
Danzo remained noncommittal, "What benefit do you gain by helping me like this?"
"Don't misunderstand. I just want to destroy the Hidden Leaf, and I fully believe in your capabilities!" the Masked Man laughed. "If you become Hokage, I'm sure it won't take long before you bring the Hidden Leaf to its knees!"
A slight twitch at the corner of Danzo's mouth, "Then you'll be disappointed. I will only bring rebirth to the Hidden Leaf!"
"In any case, cooperation is pleasant!"
"Hmph, cooperation is pleasant indeed!"
The image vanished, sending the crowd into an uproar.
"What? The Hokage actually betrayed the Hidden Leaf for his own interests!"
"Should we even call him Hokage anymore? He's clearly a thief who stole the seat of Hokage!"
"Perhaps the Hokage in his memories is an enemy using the Transformation Jutsu, deliberately performing for us!"
"Don't try to sugarcoat it — how could you miss such a huge Baku?"
"The Fourth Hokage was indeed framed!"
Koharu Utatane's expression darkened, "Danzo actually betrayed the Hidden Leaf. Why has he become like this?"

"I will voluntarily resign from my position as advisor, retreat to the mountains, and never involve myself in Konoha's affairs again!"
Homura Mitokado sighed, "I will also step down from my advisory role."
Koharu Utatane turned around quickly, said anxiously, "Homura, you don't have to do this because of me..."
Homura Mitokado shook his head slightly, "This is my own decision!"
