"You're too close to the situation. Of course you can't see it as clearly as I do," Obito calmly replied. "The Uchiha's crisis comes from both within the clan and from Konoha!"
"Within the clan!" Shisui's expression turned serious. "It seems you truly do know quite a bit!"
Obito gave no confirmation, simply sighing as he spoke, "Heh, the Uchiha have always been an emotional clan. That's why we always end up with more geniuses—and fools—than any other clan. This is the source of our calamity!"
"For example, seven years ago during the Nine-Tails disaster, some Uchiha elders suggested controlling the Nine-Tails. Their foolish idea came from knowing that your clan leader Fugaku had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan. The records of the Mangekyo's power gave them confidence!"

"How impossible?" Obito chuckled lightly.
Shisui shook his head. "First of all, aside from how one individual like me could possibly destroy Konoha, Lord Seiki's existence alone guarantees such a plan would never succeed!"
"No, you can do it, and in fact, only you can!" Obito insisted. "Of course, provided you can use Genjutsu on one specific person!"
"One person?"
"One called Aizen!"
"Aizen?" Shisui stared at him deeply. "I heard he's also a member of Akatsuki, just like you, huh?"
"It seems you've learned quite a bit after entering the upper echelons," Obito smiled unconcernedly. "Though, you probably don't really know enough about him yet!"
