Georgia's POV
My laziness instantly evaporated, and my heart rate skyrocketed.
"Okay," I squeaked. "Getting ready. Yes. Absolutely. Right now."
Nick laughed as I quickly scrambled off the bed, face burning. "Thought so," he said, standing up behind me.
By the time we reached the new house, my sleepiness was gone, and it was replaced by a bubbly mix of excitement and nerves. The moment Nick opened the car door for me, the scent of fresh paint, polished wood, and Prudence's entire plant kingdom drifted out from inside.
Our new home.
Benjamin was waiting at the doorway like a proud realtor, hands on his hips, chest puffed out. "Welcome!" he announced.
Before I could respond, Prudence rushed past him with a watering can. "Don't step on the new lilies! They're sensitive!"
Nick and I exchanged a look. Our new home or their new botanical garden? Hard to tell.
We stepped inside, barely two minutes before a car honked at the gate.
Oliver and Liam.
