Georgia's POV

Every slow roll of his hips sent a wave of warmth spiraling through my body, tightening low in my stomach. I could feel his restraint slipping with every movement, tension coiling in his muscles, in his voice, in the way his hands gripped my waist like he needed me close—closer—closest.

"Look at me," he whispered.

I lifted my gaze, and the second our eyes met, the world outside the unfinished lighthouse disappeared. It was just us. Just this impossible pull that had always existed between us, from the very first day on this island.

His next thrust wasn't faster—but deeper. So deep my breath left me in one shaky, broken sound that made his lashes flutter, his jaw tighten.

"That…" he breathed, brushing his nose lightly against mine. "That sound you make… it destroys me."

My hands flew to his shoulders, nails lightly grazing his skin as warmth pooled and spread inside me, each movement sending sparks across my nerves.
