The day passed quietly with no guest. No drama. No indirect threats or warnings. No watchful gaze. Just quiet like it usually was ninety-nine percent of the time.
The moon sat quietly in the dark sky, casting silver glows around. Two men stood under the gentle glow – their faces contrasting the peaceful night sky.
Daniel and Anthony held serious expression on their faces – a subtle tension filling the air.
"She knows his name." Anthony repeated, eyebrows drawn together in a frown.
"This cannot be happening." Daniel weaved his finger through his neck length, blonde locks, letting out a frustrated groan. "How did she find out? Did someone tell her?"
Anthony nodded with a small hum.
"Damn it! She wasn't supposed to find out. What if–?"
"She won't." Anthony cut in, a hint of uncertainty dripping in his tone.
"Those maids," Daniel hissed. "I have to teach them a lesson."
