"Look, you scare her, Your Excellency," Cassias muttered, no longer as awkward or reserved as when they first lived with each other. They seemed to be getting along quite well when she was gone, eh?
"You also can't understand her?" Nias' eyes were sharp as she stared at him, impatient.
Zerra looked up, a little dejected.
"She is just a cub now, less than ten years old. Her thoughts are a bit chaotic, but she looks more intelligent compared to the other fox cubs," he explained.
She pursed her lips and sighed, not surprised at all. Her mother was a tiger, a spiritual beast like her too. It was impossible for her not to understand what she was saying otherwise.
"If we bring her to your master, will he understand?" Nias asked again.
