Claudia was surprised when Frans caught her by both shoulders, and looked at her with a piercing stare. Her eyes widened in shock.
She had never seen Frans like this before, let alone grabbing her shoulders.
"All this time I'm the only one who loves you, I love you sincerely!" he said as he emphasized each word.
"Frans, don't go any further than this. This is why I tried to stay away from you, because I didn't want to give you hope. I love someone else, and he is Davion!" said Claudia.
The grip of his hand on her shoulder loosened, leaving Frans with pain and sadness. He began to blame himself for never being there for Claudia and putting his career ahead of someone he loved.
"Ever since Nana and I graduated from school, we never communicated at all. It's like I never existed in your life anymore. You never once made an effort to see me even though you knew where I lived," Claudia said, just as Simon had said before.
