When she got home, Claudia was still thinking about her conversation about Frans having feelings for her a long time ago. She had never thought about it.
She had always felt that Frans was like her own brother, part of her family. But she had no idea that Frans saw her as the woman he loved.
'Knowing this, I feel hesitant to see him again. I think this is the reason why Frans never gave me the letter so that I wouldn't feel like this,' she thought.
As soon as she walked into the house, Davion walked up to her. Claudia didn't expect him to be home earlier than usual.
"Honey, are you home yet? It's still four in the afternoon," she said.
"Yes, my head was hurting. So I chose to finish my work at home," he replied, hugging her.
Feeling his big and warm body, Claudia knew Davion was feeling frustrated. She returned his hug and rubbed his head. He buried his face into her neck.
"I missed you, sweetheart. How was your day?" he asked.
