Samantha ended up splashing into the lake behind Claudia. The woman did it on purpose so that Samantha would have to swim to reach the shore and they would have time until Davion and his entourage arrived.
"Damn it! How dare you push me into the lake like this!" Samantha shouted angrily.
"You started it first yourself, you tore my skirt and now I'm doing the same to you. You're lucky I'm not as cruel as you by ripping off your clothes right now for people to see!" retorted Claudia.
She then ran over to Alex, trying to examine the man's body. Just as she touched his back, Alex was already twisting in pain and Claudia was sure that the man's back was covered in bruises.
"We should take you to the hospital immediately. I'm worried that you'll break your back."
She remembered how Samantha had hit Alex very hard, especially since the golf club was so hard and thick. It was lucky that it wasn't the back of his head that was hit or Alex would have been bleeding profusely.
