Lin and Aran continued their journey through the hilly region until they saw three people up ahead — one girl and two guys. They were calmly sitting on the grass, roasting some meat, and actively discussing something.
Lin immediately frowned when he noticed them, while Aran just smiled and asked Lin:
"I assume they're also students of the academy… So what should we do about them? They might have some useful information."
Lin nodded and started walking toward them, saying:
"Of course, we should stick together… They might have something we need," he smiled slightly.
Aran laughed and added:
"Ha-ha-ha. Of course, they might have something… In any case — be ready for anything."
Lin snorted and kept moving toward the small group of people. They were quite far away, but since the area was mostly hilly, spotting someone wasn't a problem.
So, when Lin and Aran began walking straight toward the group, they noticed them and immediately grew cautious.
