Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: The Ultimatum of U.A.

2:22 p.m.U.A. High. Principal's Office.

Rain slapped the glass in soft bursts.

Inside—silence.

Aizawa sat beside Present Mic. Both worn. Both stone-faced.

Across from them, Nezu folded his paws.

Laid a single file on the table.

Surveillance Report: Quirk Distortion — Eri

"They're calling it a Temporal Singularity." Nezu's voice was calm, measured.

The kind of calm that felt like thunder waiting behind clouds.

"She erased a clone from existence without killing her. That's no longer just a Quirk."

Aizawa didn't blink.Didn't speak.

Mic leaned forward.

"So what's the call, Nezu?"

The principal's red eyes narrowed.

"We bring her in."

Aizawa flinched.

Mic coughed. "Bring her in, like… voluntarily?"

"If she resists?" Nezu sighed.

"We use force."

Across the city—Izuku felt something in his chest.

A familiar tightening.

He stared down at his phone. The message had arrived.

FROM: U.A."Effective immediately, Eri is to be relocated under official Hero Supervision."

Bakugo read over his shoulder.

"…They're moving in."

Izuku's grip tightened.

"They're scared."

"Of her?"

"No. Of what she might become."

Later that night, in a crumbling apartment—

A knock at the door.

Izuku opened it.

Found Aizawa standing there.

Soaked. Tired. Eyes like razors.

"I came alone."

Izuku didn't answer.

"You know what this is," the teacher said.

Izuku nodded.

"I'm not handing her over."

"I know."

"She's safe with me."

"I know."

A pause.

"You going to try and take her?"

Aizawa looked past him.

Saw Eri on the couch.

Holding her bunny. Watching a cartoon. Smiling.

His voice dropped.

"…No."

They sat together.

The rain fell between their silence.

Then Aizawa whispered, "Nezu's sending others."

"When?"

"Soon."

"How many?"

"All of them."

Inside U.A., plans formed.

Yaoyorozu crafted suppressor cuffs.

Iida reviewed non-lethal apprehension strategy.

Todoroki froze blueprints of the city for zone control.

And Uraraka…

Sat on a bench.

Head down.

Crying.

"She's not a villain," she whispered.

"No," said Tsuyu softly.

"But if she breaks the world…"

"…We'll be forced to become its enemies."

Meanwhile—Nezu met with All Might.

The former Symbol of Peace looked pale. Frail. Eyes sunken.

"You know this isn't what he wants," All Might whispered.

Nezu nodded.

"I also know it's not what you want."

"…You're still doing it."

"Yes."

All Might clenched his jaw.

"Then you better be right."

Back at the hideout.

Stain stood at the window.

"I can buy you an hour," he said. "Maybe two."

Izuku shook his head.

"No. No more running."

He turned to Bakugo.

"We stand."

Bakugo grinned.

"Now we're talkin'."

The door creaked open.

Eri stepped out of her room.

She looked… older.

Somehow.

Like time had stretched behind her eyes.

"I can't rewind anymore," she said.

Izuku knelt beside her.

"Why?"

"Because…"She looked at her hand. It trembled.

"…I don't want to."

And then the first siren rang.

Outside.

Far away.

But getting closer.

A convoy.

Bright lights.

Heroes in full uniform.

U.A. was coming.

Izuku stepped forward.

Green lightning pulsed in his palms.

Bakugo cracked his knuckles.

Stain vanished into shadow.

Eri held her bunny tight.

The bunny's red eyes flickered.

And time…

shivered.
