Eliza's POV
Isn't he a bit wierd?
"Claire, you're squeezing my hand " i said. He immediately let go of it and said... "I am sorry" his voice was cracking. Was that a bad idea to give him my diary?
What's wrong with him? What did i write there to feel this much? Even i feel traumatized reading my own diary.
I held his hand again and looked at him "The diversion life gave me... It is a gift.. I accept it... I accept you" i said and smiled at him. "When i said I love you, i mean it. I love you, claire.. Beyond words, beyond sky and heaven "
His eyes immediately filled with tears and he smiled. That smile wasn't fake like before. It was filled with love and delight.
"Are you blushing?" I asked playfully.
"You won't understand how it feels to hear those words from you.
You won't talk alot but when you say something it's meant forever " he said.
My lips twitched on it's own to a soft smile. Sometimes my mind won't work properly when he is around. I even learned to talk cheesy words.
We walked along the garden of roses, hand in hand, exchanging sweet glancea. Not awkward but in comfort.
"Isn't it cold?"he asked.
"It is.." I said.
"Here wear my jacket " he was about to take off his jacket but i stopped him.
"I am used to it." I said.
His expression changed and he looked away. We walked again.
"Can we... go for date now?" He asked.
"No, we can go on my 18th and your 19th birthday " i said.
"After 2 years?" He asked. I nodded and walked again.
"And after 2 years, i will be in new york " i said. "With aunt?" He asked. I smiled and shook my head. He carefully looked at me ..and asked, "Then why are you leaving?"
"I promised brother Dylan " i said. His expression immediately changed into horror.
"No need to be afraid of him. He is not a bully —" i said and he pulled me closer to a hug. "You have time to be emotional. And you can come too right?"i said.
He looked at me pursed his lips. His expression and look said something else.
"Claire, what's wrong with you? Is there something that you're hiding from me?" I asked. He didn't even wait a second to shake his head with a shocked expression. I didn't wanted to push further.
"Ma'am Eliza " a maid came in, we both looked at her. "Madam is looking for you " she said. I nodded and walked inside. She was waiting for me at the door, when she saw me, she smiled.I know i am still not okay with a sudden change but I am accepting this diversion too but not the unresolved mysteries.
I smiled at her and approached her. "Were you looking for me?" I asked.Claire followed.
"Claire? You woke up without alarm?" She teased him.
He looked at me and pouted at her. I laughed at that.
"Aunt, why are you teasing me infront of her?" He asked like a kid and walked towards us.
She laughed softly at him. "Let's eat.. I cooked for you. " she said and walked inside. We both followed..
I didn't taste my own mom's food and wasn't feeded by her hands. I didn't drink her milk and she never got to feed her own daughter.
We sat on the grand dining table. This big dining hall for three people.

Mom dropped us in school. Seeing Claire and me getting out of the same car and waving together jealous eyes followed. We didn't even care to look.
We were stunned when Victor jumped infront of her. We laughed at his appearance.
"What are you wearing?" Claire asked him.
"Hat" he replied.
We laughed again but we controlled it. He was wearing a hat with strands of hair hanging from it.A fluorescent green colour hat with yellow hair.
"She said it looks good on me" he said.
"Who?"i asked.
"Ashly " he said and shrugged.
Claire took of his hat and threw it away and asked "Are you that idiot?".
"She was fooling you. Come let's go" I said and walked.
"I am not gonna forgive her." He said.
"Stop messing around " i commented.
He crossed his arms and walked with me.
"By the way... We have an exam today.." He said.
"What?" Claire and i asked in unison.
"Maths for us and history for him" he said.
"Oh no.. I don't know a thing." Claire said. I feel sorry for him. I can make it up. He was busy taking care of me...
"I am sorry, Claire. It's because of me." I said, my voice low but sincere. "Hey.. Hey... No... I knew we have test but i didn't take it as a big deal." He said.
"You have time to study" Victor said ....
"Yeah .... thanks for reminding, Bro" Claire said.
Victor gave him a proud smile and Claire ran to his Claire and even turned back to wave at me.
"There is a new dish in canteen. Can we try?" Victor asked.
"Yeah but let's go at lunch time " i said and he nodded. We walked inside the class.
"Eliza..." Ayana shouted in happiness. I smiled at them.
"You okay?" Ashly asked.
"Victor said you're at hospital " David asked.
I looked at Victor and he looked away. Why is he flashing news?
"I am doing well" i said and lowered my bag to my chair.
Alana pulled my hand "Come we have a lot to talk " they said.

They talked alot and i listened.
Should i tell them about Claire?
"Eliza.... What do you... Think about James?" Ashly asked in her pretentious voice. I hated it.
"I hate him" i said without hesitation.
"What?" They screamed in unison.
I looked around, the whole room was looking at us then they ignored like it is a common thing.
"Why? Isn't he handsome?" — Ashly
"Isn't he strong?"— Ayana
"Isn't he unique?" — Alana
"I don't know" i said and shrugged ..
"Why don't you like him?" Alana asked while poking my forehead.
"I.. Already have a boyfriend" i said.
"Huh?" — Ayana asked.
Alana stopped poking me and blinked few times even her mouth was partially open.
"Who?" Victor jumped out of nowhere.
Ashly didn't even breath.
All this happened at the same time.
I looked at them and closed Alana's mouth with my fingers.
"Who?" Victor asked again.
"Claire " i said without any hesitation.
They let out a sigh in unison.
Then the teacher came in everyone sat down in their seats.
She took the attendance.I was reading my book for a revision.
"Ma'am may i come in?" Someone asked ... All of us looked at the door.
James.
"Why are you late James?" Teacher asked in anger. I continued what i was doing and ignored them.
I heard teacher's sigh "come in" she said.
Victor leaned closer to me, i looked at him "Did you study?" He asked. I nodded at him.
"Let's start the test" teacher said and started to distribute the papers.
