Chapter 163 - Reunion Between Siblings

Back at the camp the group of leaders were gathered together. Here it was Raven, Elara, Liora, Isis, Elyndra, Kaelen, Thalia, Sara and 3 Saints from the Human race. They have been here for a while and Isis had been explaining the situation over the last 6 months. Not much was different on this side of the war as well.

Hearing this Elara nodded then spoke out.

"Alright we will attack the Demons with full force, however we need a plan." Elara said as she looked around. From her last encounter she learned that these forces were deeper than she thought. Saints were abundant and their group would be at a major disadvantage.

"What are you thinking?" Raven asked as she stood with arms crossed. To this question Elara didn't answer right away.

TAP!

TAP!

Her finger tapped the table a few times before she spoke.

"Let's use our numbers too, although we don't have nearly as many saints we do have enough of lower ranked. We will allow the battlefield to remain the same as it is, Kalpa's army will focus on the weaker cultivators, but this time we will bring in a few elites from the Academy."

"Hmm, that's not a bad idea actually but who do you have in mind?" Liora chimed in.

"Well, the top 10 of our class was pretty talented. Bring Kael, Ethan, Krax, and Lucas to this battlefield, it's time for them to make a name for themselves."

"Eh? Kael is only at the Peak Rebirth rank. Are you sure it's smart to send them into the fire?" Kaelen the Dragon King spoke out hearing his daughter.

Elara rolled her eyes hearing this.

"You're right they all should be no stronger than the Mythical Rank, however their talent is what makes a difference. They would be able to completely dominate the battlefield while we all completely focus on the Saints. This would also be an opportunity for them to push themselves past their limits."

Hearing this the other nodded in agreement.

"Alright, I will call them over." Liora spoke as she took out her token.

After this the others all went outside the building they were in now and flew into the skies. Once they were here Liora tossed her token out into the air. Then in the next moment it a white light showed, and 4 young men appeared once the light dimmed.

Kael stood at 6 foot 5 with fiery red scales along his arms, neck, and even his face had small scales. His hair had been cut, and it now stopped at the back of his neck, it was the same red as his scales. In his hand her carried a spear that had dried blood on it. After 200 years, Kael was now a matured man and one who found his path in this life.

Ethan stood at about 5 foot 11 with dark black hair that grew longer, it now reached the middle of his back. In the middle of his forehead was a pitch-black tattoo that resembled a sword. He was dressed in light armor that was black, with a sword on his waist, he looked like a true swordsman. His rank was now Early Mythical.

Lucas stood at 6 foot 3 inches with short black hair. His eyes seemed to have grown even bloodier as they seemed to glow. He stood barehanded dressed in similar armor to Ethans. Even though he was barehanded his rank was impressive, he was now Early Mythical as well.

Finally, was Krax, he stood towering over everyone present at 8 foot even. His hair was messy as it reached his shoulders, he had now even grown a beard that was dark red the same as his hair. He stood dressed in ripped robes that revealed his torso and only covered his bottom half. In his hands were two huge battle axes. His rank was the most impressive at Late Mythical.

Seeing the four men for the first time in years the group smiled. Especially Elara and Raven, even if they seemed annoyed by their sibling's majority of the time, they were still siblings at the end of the day. And with this in mind they both rushed forward and gave their brothers hugs.

After a few moments they separated and chatted for a while. The four men had been on different battlefields over the past 6 months. During this time, they fought and killed just like everyone else, but unlike most the more they fought on the thin line of life and death, the more they improved.

"Alright, let's get started." Elara said as she took out a space shuttle. Once they boarded the shuttle they made their way back to the battlefield. This time they wanted to complete the job without Akasha's help.

-----

In just an hour they made it to the battlefield, everyone already knew their tasks, so it was no need for talk. They all exited and entered the battle. The battlefield between Demons and Devils was a bit different than most. This was because the Demon Race had more numbers than most Races. The Demons have both a Emperor and Empresses, all because they are two entirely demons.

The Male Demons are Wrath Demons. They normally had black skin with horns that had red trimmings. Their wings were thick and was a mix of black and red. These Demons heavily resembled Pride Demons aside from the red color.

The Female Demon however were much different than any other Demon Race that had yet to be introduced. They had pale green skin, horns that had wisps of indigo mixed in with white. Their wings were translucent with indigo veins. These were Sorrowborn Demons, they were Demons of Envy and Despair.

Inside the War Room of Demons

"So, how long are you going to wait?" The Demon Emperor spoke as he watched Raven, and the others enter the battle. Much like the Human Emperor he was watching the war on a projection. Him along with the Demon Empress.

"What, your little rageful idiots can't handle a few Saints?" The Demon Empress teased as she swirled around a cup of wine. Even though she was teasing him, her words held some truth. That was because the Sorrowborn Demons were without a doubt stronger than the Wrath Demons.

Unlike Wrath, which is loud and scorching, or Lust, which intoxicates and burns, Envy is cold, secret, and corrosive, making the Sorrowborn dangerously insidious.

"Tsk, whatever just do as you please." The Demon Emperor said as he scoffed. He had no fun dealing with this woman who constantly teased him. She did it intentionally as well, because she knew it would tick him off.

The Empress smiled hearing that as she focused on the battlefield.

"Interesting..." She said cryptically.
