Chapter 159 - The Veiled Illusionist

While Raven was finally breaking out of her shell that she was in for the past millennia. When she first met Akasha, she told him about her being protected and treated delicately her whole life. She wanted to be someone who thrived through the blood of her enemies. Someone whose path was carved in pure blood. For a thousand years she cultivated while suppressing her urges of wanting to bathe in blood. But now she was finally able to be free.

As she continued her slaughter, Liora found herself beating a Human Saint to a pulp. She was someone who thrived through illusions and her path was to reach the absolute pinnacle of illusions. Currently Liora stood in the distance as she watched the male saint struggle to escape from her illusion.

Liora was different when it came to casting illusions and that's because she didn't merely cast illusions to confuse her enemies. No, her illusions came in many different forms and currently she was using clones. She forced this Human into a 3v1, as she watched and calculated her next moves.

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Her clones landed three consecutive blows to the man and sent him flying through space. Once he recovered, he wiped the blood from his lips and then spoke.

"Heh, I guess I should stop playing around."

|Concept of Unbroken Resurgence|

The moment his concept activated his wounds healed in an instant. This concept was based upon his life of adversity. Facing harsh trials through life and always being looked down upon, he needed to adapt. And this Concept embodied this aspect, it allowed him to adapt to any situation and as long as he was alive, he would come out on top.

Once he healed up his body spilt into 3 clones and now the fight was even. The clones wasted no time and engaged with Liora's clones. The fight appeared to be even and as the clones fought blow for blow the man moved and approached Liora.

The two of them were both fighting barehanded and as he appeared in front of Liora he punched out.

BOOOOOM!

With one blow Liora was sent flying. The man moved again and hit Liora again and again.

BOOOM!!!

BOOOM!!!!

BOOOOM!!!!!

With the final blow the man took a moment to catch his breath. From the moment he activated his concept until now only a few seconds passed. Everything happened so fast that Liora didn't even have the time to react. This was also because of the man's concept. His speed was boosted to the point that Liora couldn't perceive, and this allowed him to catch her off guard.

Thousands of miles away Liora found herself imbedded inside of a dead star.

"COUGHH! Fuck!" She coughed up a mouthful of blood as she moved out of the crater. As she stood upward in space, she wiped the blood from her lips and her eyes flickered briefly. She locked eyes onto the man of into the distance and then she spoke.

|Concept of Living Deception|

This concept allowed Liora to bring her illusions to life with but a thought. With a simple thought she could cast a mind breaking illusion or whatever she wished. As she activated this concept, she casted two illusions back-to-back.

"You're not fast at all..." The moment her words entered the man's ears; he felt his speed being reduced back to normal. Then before he could react, he heard her voice once again.

"What happened to your eyesight?" When this question entered his ears, the man's vision went dark.

All of this was because of Liora's concept. She had the power to cast illusions so powerful that her words could affect reality to some extent. The moment she finished those words she moved and appeared in front of the man.

BOOOOM!!!!!

She punched out and sent the man flying. While the man was trying to recover, she cast another illusion and this time more clones appeared all around the man in an encirclement.

BOOOM!

BOOOM!

BOOOM!

BOOOM!

The clones delivered blow after blow to a man who struggled to recover. Then after a few moments he began to adapt to the situation. His vision didn't return, but his other senses were heightened to an absurd level. More clones appeared around him that engaged with Liora's newly formed clones.

Then in place of his absurd speed his raw power began to rise. He then spread his divine senses and used his ears to locate Liora, however he was too late.

|Mandate of Verisimilitude|

|A Sweet Dream|

HUMMM!

The moment this skill activated alongside her Mandate, the man's movement completely ceased. He was put into an illusion that had several parts. One part would show him his lowest moments, the memories he would want to forget the most. The second part would then show him living out his dreams, achieving all the things he wanted. The lastly, outside of the illusion Liora summoned thousands of weapons in the space.

There were swords, hammers, axes, sabers, spears and plenty more. These were created from her imagination and brought into reality with the use of her Mandate. She then lowered her hand and then all the weapons converged on the man all at once.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

A devasting explosion resounded through the entire battlefield and the man was no longer standing. In fact, he was no longer visible at all. Once she finished with him, she looked around and spotted Elara and Raven both heading towards the world's barrier. She then moved to join them.

---

Inside the world where the Human's main base was located, the Human Emperor and a few others could be seen watching the battles on a projection. They had just witnessed Raven slaughter more than half of the battlefield and both Elara and Liora make easy work of Saints.

"Who the hell are these people! And why would they send 7 saints into battle all at once." A male commander spoke out as he watched. He then turned towards the Human emperor and spoke.

"Your majesty, please send me and a few elite Saints out to put a stop to this. If they continue to intervene in this battle, the devils may find an opportunity to breech our defenses." He knelt down as he spoke.

Hearing this the Human Emperor nodded and spoke.

"Go, you and 3 others go and stop those three women. The other 4 saints don't seem to be much for right now."

After he said that the man rose up and left the war room along with 2 men and a woman. Once they left an older man next to the emperor spoke.

"What are your true thoughts about all of this?" The old man was his advisor and also the emperor's closest friend.

The Human Emperor sighed hearing then spoke.

"I'm not sure to be honest. This doesn't feel right at all..."

As he said this he focused back on the projection.

"They are moving too aggressive for them to only have 7 Saints. Sure those 3 are a bit stronger than normal, but they must know we have cultivators stronger than Early Saints, right?"

He spoke again as his mind raced for answers.

----

While the Human Emperor was busy dealing with Raven and the others Akasha found himself finishing up with his first Galaxy. Within 6 months of time he completely cleared an entire Galaxy filled with Devils. This was of course done with the help of his clones and some spamming.

Now he stood along with Kal as they were in front of the core of this corrupted Galaxy. The core was much bigger than a world's core, it spans for literal light years and in front of this core the two of them looked almost unnoticeable.

"You can proceed the same way you did with the world's core. Once it assimilates into our Universe, I will find a way to cleanse the corruption instead of waiting for years." Akasha said as he turned to look at Kal.

"Alright" Kal spoke as she nodded her head. Then she moved her hand to the pitch-black core and in the next instant the core was engulfed in a rainbow light. After the light dimmed down the core disappeared along with it.

"I still can't believe that I can literally assimilate cosmic structures." Kal said as she shook her head.

Akasha smiled and then spoke.

"Well, it is interesting indeed. However you should get used to it, we have three more to go." After he said this the two shared a few more words before Kal went back into The Sanctuary. Akasha then prepared to move, but then he got a sudden bad feeling.

He felt the threads of fate shifting and without wasting a moment of time, he activated his eyes of Anan along with the Dao of Fate and Karma. Once he did this his vision shifted and threads came into view.

He took a moment to focus on things related to himself, and that included people or places he had connections with. In the next moment he came across red lines connected to head of Elara. Seeing this he focused immediately see the cause of this.

After a few minutes his vision returned to normal, and he continued on his journey. Apparently the three women will soon face some adversity dealing with those humans. It seemed bad at first, but then he thought about a few things, and he was sure they would be fine.

As long as no Saint Lord appeared then they could make it out the toughest situations. However just to be on the safe side he sent two full powered clones back to them. They would be nonexistent as long as the women remained safe.
