Time passed day by day and finally it was the day for the PK academy sports festival. I woke up pretty early and went over to Kusuo's place so that we could go to school together.
Ding Dong
I hit the doorbell and Mrs.Saiki opens the door and greets me warmly.
"Hey there En-chan, how are you doing today. Ready for the sports festival. Mama's going to come see you and cheer you on".
"Thanks mom, I'm gonna win first place just for you." I said lifting my hands into the air excitedly.
[Good grief, can a guy get a quiet morning around here.] A sleepy voice I recognize echoed in my head.
I turned to see Kusuo looking as listless as ever.
[Still hate sports day and anything to do with sports I see.] I replied to him telepathically.
[Sigh, you have no idea. Sometimes I envy you Endou, we both have similar powers but though yours is weak you can easily control it. Where as in my case ~sigh] Kusuo said dejectedly.
[Hang in there buddy, I'm sure you wou....]

A figure suddenly appeared in front of Mrs.Saiki, well we all know who it might be.
Yeah that's right it was Kuniharu-san.
Dressed in a sharp brown suit, he held a camcorder in hand.
"My dear Kurumi, look at this camera I bought just for Kusuo's sports festival"
"Oh dear, that's amazing" Mrs. Saiki giggled
"How about I take a few pictures of you Kurumi"
"Oh my, like this?" Mrs.Saiki said striking a pose.
"That's it. Give me cute. Give me funny" Kuniharu-san said taking a bunch of photos of his wife.
[Hey bro, how about we ditch these guys and head out for school] I said to Kusuo.
[Great idea, let's get out of here]

We all gathered at the field where the sports events will be held. We were arranged according to classes.
There was Class 1, the intellectuals, led by Haruo Sugiyama and they all wore red headbands. And if you are guessing then yes, that is my class.
Then there was Class 2, the jocks, led by Yuji Ooshima, a buffed up dude with his shirt off. Members in this class wore a blue head band.
Class 3, well the class of the main cast, led by Kineshi Hairo. Members in this class had yellow headbands.
And then there was Class 4, another class of intellectuals, led by Kenji Tanihara, who apparently aced the midterms. Their members wore green head bands.
Finally there was class 5, the nerds, I'm kidding but the class is full of glasses wearing students. Anyways, they were led by Ippei Matsuda and they had on their heads white head bands.

The event started with the boys 100 m dash, that was the one I was participating in. We all headed for the starting line.
"Make or meet your death Kuu" Shouted Mrs.Saiki.
[Well that sounds terrifying. You heard the lady Kusuo, if you don't want mom turning into a monster and strangling you, you better bring your A-game on.] I said telepathically to Kusuo who was representing Class 3.
"Do your best En-chan, Mama's gonna reward you if you win" Mrs.Saiki said as she cheered me on.
[Such blatant favoritism mom. I thought I was supposed to be your son] replied Kusuo exasperated.
I burst into laughter after hearing Kusuo.
"I'm recording you boys. To a tape called my heart" said Kuniharu-san trying to act all cute.
I sighed and turned to Kusuo saying to him
[ I bet you two coffe jello that this guy just exhausted the camcorder's battery by taking too many pictures of your mom]
[Yeah I think so too]

The starters pistol was fired as I breezed my way into first place, since unlike Kusuo I don't aim to stay average. Class 1 came in first place followed by Class 2, Class 3, 4 and 5.
I waved at the cheerleaders as they cheered my name.
The next group headed for the track.
'Wait that guy's running? This can't be good' I thought to my self as I saw none other than the self proclaimed 'Jet black Wings', Kaido, about to run.
Well as it's to be expected he was last place. I burst into laughter and shouted towards Class 3 with my palm at the side of my mouth to amplify my voice.
"Hey 'Shun the Gale' , your wind run out of gas?", which caused all those present to burst into laughter.
Now it was time for the three-legged race. There on the field participants stood nervously.
"Go for it Kokomi, win the race and show these plebs how it's done" I said as I cheered my childhood friend on.
Kokomi blushed and shouted back, "Oh, shut up Endou".
Quickly Hinata-nee chimed in "Kokomi you can't talk to my En-kun like that"
Kokomi snorted and turned her head away.
The starters pistol was fired over again and the participants began awkwardly running for the finished line.
Rooaaaaaaaaaaaar
A scream broke through the track field as Sawakita carried Kokomi princess style and dashed madly for the finish line.
On the other hand that perverted idiot just kept harassing his teammate. Well they came out last in the three-legged race. Sigh I pity Class 2 for having someone like Toritsuka.
Finally it was time for the last event of the morning, the scavenger hunt. The starters pistol fired once again as Nendou dashed forward beating the competition and heading towards Kusuo with a piece of paper in hand.
[This can't be good] I said to Kusuo.
[Huh? What are you talking a...] Kusuo froze for a sec and fell to the ground. Nendou with a limiter in hand stared foolishly around not knowing what to do.
I quickly stepped up and headed for Class 3's tent, where I took the limiter from Nendou and fixed it where it belongs on Kusuo head.
Kusuo quickly regain consciousness and asked me what happened.
[Well Nendou happened] I said to him. He tried standing but was having a bit of difficulty as I helped him up while he was glaring daggers at Nendou.
[I think your powers are going to be affected after such a stunt] I said to Kusuo
[Nah, I'm good Endou, don't worry about it]
I looked at Kusuo and told him to shoot me a message if he had any trouble getting around.
A couple of minutes later, it was time for lunch. I was eating lunch with the girls in my class when I suddenly got a telepathic message from Kusuo. I asked the ladies to excuse me a bit, found a secluded place and teleported straight to Kusuo's side.
[You wanna head home Kusuo]
[Yeah]
"Saikiiii, playing hide and seek?" We heard Nendou's voice drawing closer. I quickly put my hand on Kusuo's shoulder and teleported with him to his bedroom.
[You have a good rest, Kusuo. I've gotta get back to school. I also need to inform your parents about it so they don't get worried if they can't find you in school]
[Thanks Endou. I owe you one]
[Don't mention it Kusuo, what are bros for?]
I immediately teleported back to school, found Kusuo's parents and told them of what happened to him. I assure them that he was okay and just needed to rest for a couple of hours. I then headed for class 3's tent and informed Hairo that Kusuo was not feeling well and that I had taken him home to get some rest.
I walked back to my tent under the shouts of the Class 3 students about winning the sports festival for Kusuo.
