Arthur carefully approached the Mud Puddle and Stabbed into it
The Carapace Scavenger under the Mud Puddle who was resting wasn't prepared for it but as an Awakened Beast it's Carapace was tough and Arthur was not only Starving for Days but also Sleep deprived enough to start having hallucinations hours ago
To the Severely wounded Sacavenger Arthur's strike barely even counted as a mosquito sting
The Carapace Scavenger quickly jumped from under the Mud Puddle managing to get half it's body out in one jump and tried to strike back immediately with it's damaged claw but as it was still tired from the still bleeding wounds it got just yesterday it was slow enough for Arthur to manage to Dodge as he did he immediately gained distance while the scavenger was fully getting out of the Puddle
Arthur not one to waste a second scowled and tried taunting the Scavenger "why bother getting out of that mud? It really suits a half corpse like you If you want a better tomb I will make you one!"
The Scavenger not understanding a single word Arthur said but annoyed at having it's rest interrupted did not need anything to provoke it as it was furious enough already
The Scavenger immediately started chasing Arthur who Ran the moment the Scavenger managed to get out of the Puddle as the location of the Scavenger with one leg was close and having already scouted the way in advance he did not encounter any other scavenger on his way
As he got near the hidden place the Scavenger with one Leg was hiding Arthur went around it and then turned to face the One Armed Scavenger taunting it to walk straight into the other scavenger's hiding spot
"Do you need help crossing the street Grandpa? Dose your back hurt that much you Ancient Relic!?" Arthur scoffed and continued "and here I thought Nightmare Creatures were supposed to be scary"
The Tired Carapace Scavenger did not need any extra motivation it charged at Arthur in a straight line Boilding Rage evident in its Eyes
The Scavenger hiding under the Sand Felt Tremors near his hiding spot and he did not hesitate he struck immediately it was starving for days after all
Arthur watched as the One Armed Scavenger Lost it's leg in the Ambush and completely forgot about him as it started to unleash its pent up rage at the closest thing to it the Ambushing Scavenger
Arthur couldn't help but lampoon 'these guys realise I'm still here right? Or are they so in love that they can only see eachother' Arthur sighed and said out loud "love is truly Blind well that works for me"
As Arthur Predicted the Scavenger with one arm was Losing fast it had far more wounds then the two armed Scavenger and it was now missing another one of its legs
While the Two Armed Scavenger was focused on finishing the One Armed Scavenger already half the way to the Shadow Realm already Arthur rushed from behind the Two Armed Scavenger and stabbed at the back of its head where it's weak point was
The scavenger screamed and squirmed falling over
... Arthur sighed thinking to himself 'even getting water was more challenging then this... Am I a genius at murder or an idiot at basic survival skills?'
Arthur did not dwell on it too much and quickly took the Shards pressed them against his chest and crushed them feeling them enter his soul strengthening it
then he hurriedly grabbed all the scavenger meat he could carry and hid it in various places nearby if he stayed too long the stench of Blood will drive more Scavengers here! he also took some with him to where the Puddle of Water was he was going to cook it after all he was starving!
After eating his fill Arthur took the two Teeth using the Coral to wrap them around him tightly barely protecting his modesty and held the Skull around his Forearm if he forgets these he might never find replacements in this empty place he carefully walked back to the statue this time not on the palm but on the Headless part of it that was more spacious
As he laid down he thought to himself 'i hope I get an armour type memory I don't want to look like a caveman fore...' Falling asleep before he could finish the thought Arthur was interrupted by the Nightmare Spell

Arthur saw The Forgotten Shore time quickly started to flow in reverse he saw the birth of the Corrupted Sun the Statues of the Seven Heros regaining their heads only to be seemingly disassembled by the people who built them he saw People desperate to find sources of light and then as he saw an "angel" with three eyes absorbing the Dark sea and Ascend the nightmare then stoped rewinding time at a significant pace until it stoped completely and time started flowing normally again
Arthur looked at his body he seemed to be armoured and holding a Spear he was on a Wall probably a Guard after that The first thing Arthur did was summon his Runes

as he continued taunting the Spell and Getting no response Arthur didn't spend too much time on it and looked at his Hunter Attribute [You can more easily stay composed, have a talent at making Traps and staying Hidden] 'well this explains how I didn't get caught by the scavengers while wondering the Coral labyrinth for so long'

He also looked at his [Cursed] Attribute to see what kind of Curse he had [you are hated by fate misfortune follows you wherever you go] Arthur Lampooned in his mind 'i might sneak a peek at you sometimes but it's not on purpose... Most of the time anyway so there's no need to be shy'
Arthur having Finished checking his Runes looked around there didn't seem to be any people on the wall he was on it was basically deserted and it was also quite big there was enough space for almost ten people to walk side by side without touching the Edges of the Wall looking down he saw that he was incredibly high up almost a hundred meters
Arthur not at all worried about the consequences of leaving his post walked calmly towards the Stairs at the corner of the Walls leading down 'there really seems to be no people on the Walls' he thought as he descened down the stairs it was strange why let only one guard watch over an entire wall?
when he got down and left the walls completely he finally saw people this city looked quite big but the atmosphere was strange there were far too little people around and most looked gloomy
Arthur approached an old lady and lied as easily as he breathed "excuse me but do you know why everyone here is so gloomy? I hit my head while trying to do a Cool pose when I was guarding the Wall" Arthur sighed with a sad expression "I don't remember anything other then the language I speak anymore"
The Old Lady looked at his head and seemingly inspected it but found nothing wrong she said annoyed "boy what Prank are you trying to pull now? With that accursed abomination heading here everyone is panicking and leaving the City this isn't the time for such tasteless jokes! If you got cold feet then leave already like everyone else"
While Arthur thought 'abomination? Must be that Nephiliam it's heading here and if it dies then the Dark Sea will be unleashed and everyone here will Die me included I have to stop that thing from dying! But is that Nephiliam even friendly? It might kill me if I try to save it anyway'
Arthur also changed his expression as if he was caught playing a prank and then responded to the old Woman "I'm not afraid I was just trying to lighten the mood can't you see how gloomy everyone here is? It's not like it's the end of the World!"
The old woman grimly replied to Arthur "to me and everyone here it is" she didn't wait for Arthur to respond and left
Arthur glanced at her walking away thinking 'just how am I supposed to convince these people the Nephiliam shouldn't be killed?' After aimlessly walking around for a bit Arthur came up with a few ideas
the first was to overthrow the current City Lord and become the New Boss then he could order the people to let the Nephiliam be people were submissive to Authority after all but not only was the City Lord a Transcendent but the people could also just brand him as an evil assassin instead of their Ruler so he dismissed the idea
The Second was to kill every soldier so the Nephiliam would not be attacked since there were only 20 Awakened in the City with 3 Ascended Generals and one Transcendent City Lord left if he hid the fact he was killing them and spread rumours it was the Nephiliams Curse the People would panick and and probably not suspect him well most won't he could silence those that got strange ideas about him killing people
The third was what he was going to do now he will definitely gain a reputation Arthur Lamented and started shouting in the middle of the place he found most people in right near the Governing building where the City Lord was located they were here to pray for his Victory against the Supreme Nephiliam even though the battle was going to happen in a few days
Everyone turned to look at him as he shouted "NEPHILIAM LIVES MATTER! LET THE ABOMINATION LIVE! ALL LIFE IS EQUALLY IMPORTANT!"
