The bell above the tailor shop door jingled softly as I stepped inside, flanked by Damien, Magnus, and Xavier. The cozy space was filled with vibrant fabrics and mannequins draped in intricate designs. My eyes widened as I gazed at the rows of sparkling gowns.
"This place is stunning," I murmured, running my fingers over a midnight-blue fabric that shimmered like the night sky.
"Not half as stunning as you, of course." Xavier leaned casually against the doorframe. His sharp blue eyes gleamed as he added, "Though I'm happy to watch you prove me wrong."
I rolled my eyes but couldn't suppress the smile tugging at my lips.
Magnus gestured toward the back, where a seamstress waited. "Let's get this over with before Beta Xavier starts trying to dress himself in lace."
"I'd probably look good in it," Xavier shot back with a grin.
