Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Lens of Adventure

Paimon stared at Lumine, still surprised by the wind power swirling around her friend's hair.

"Isn't that reward amazing?" she said, her voice full of excitement after seeing Lumine summon the wind and float up.

Lumine had never had this kind of power before. It would have saved them a lot of trouble during river crossings if they'd found this shop earlier.

Paimon realized the reward from the comic was real. It wasn't just a story; it was a real power.

Her heart raced as she thought about her own reward—she hoped it would be the Gourmet Tablecloth, which could produce endless food.

Without waiting, Paimon ran back to the sofa, grabbed the Cardcaptor Sakura comic, and started reading quickly.

Lumine smiled and settled next to her, going back to One Piece: East Sea Saga because she didn't want the adventure to end just yet.

They spent the next hour reading quietly, the only sounds coming from turning pages and Paimon's occasional excited gasps.

"That was awesome!" Paimon said, closing the comic with a big smile.

The story of Sakura Kinomoto, a brave girl gathering magical Clow Cards, had completely caught her attention.

Paimon liked how Sakura's companion Kero reminded her of herself—always loyal and ready to help Lumine through tough times.

Reading the comic felt personal, like it reflected their own friendship.

Sakura's courage impressed Paimon, though she secretly thought Lumine was even braver.

Then she noticed Tomoyo Daidouji, a calm girl who always carried a camera. That gave Paimon an idea.

"If I had that camera, I could film all of Lumine's adventures," she thought, imagining a project she'd call Traveler's Journal.

But the story took a sad turn when Yukito revealed himself as Yue, the Judge. Paimon was shocked by the betrayal.

"How could he do that to Sakura?" she muttered, remembering how surprised Sakura looked.

Paimon promised herself she'd always stick by Lumine, no matter what happened.

One thing bothered her though—the Gourmet Tablecloth wasn't in the comic.

"Boss, where's the Gourmet Tablecloth you promised?" Paimon asked, going to the counter with a pout.

She'd been looking forward to it since Harlan mentioned it, but it wasn't in the Cardcaptor Sakura story.

Harlan smiled knowingly. "That's from Doraemon. We don't have that comic yet, but it will be here soon."

Paimon sighed and said, "Hurry up, boss—I'll definitely come back."

Just then, the system in Harlan's mind beeped. Paimon had finished the comic and earned a reward.

A beam of light appeared and dropped a small, shiny camera into her hands.

"What's this?" Paimon asked, looking at the camera, a little confused but recognizing it from the comic.

Harlan stepped around the counter and explained, "It's a camera, like Tomoyo's. It records people and places."

Paimon's face lit up. "This is exactly what I wanted!"

But then she realized she didn't know how to use it.

"Let me show you," Harlan said, guiding her hands to show how to aim and take pictures.

He'd been a photographer before coming to Teyvat, so he knew how to teach her.

Paimon caught on quickly, laughing as she pointed the camera around the shop, testing it out.

"Oh, and it has unlimited battery and memory," Harlan added, smiling.

"That's perfect! Now I can film Lumine all the time!" Paimon said excitedly, swinging the camera toward her friend.

Lumine looked up suspiciously. "Film what?"

Paimon quickly hid the camera behind her back and stammered, "Nothing… I just thought we should find Amber soon."

She didn't want Lumine to know she planned to secretly record her adventures for the Traveler's Journal.

Lumine frowned but then nodded, remembering. "Right, Amber's waiting for us. We've stayed here too long."

They had planned to explore Mondstadt and meet their first friend, but the comics kept them hooked.

"Thanks, boss, for the great rewards," Lumine said, with Paimon nodding eagerly.

Harlan waved it off. "Just luck. Come back anytime."

"Definitely!" they said together, ready to leave with their new rewards.

The comics and their powers were too interesting to pass up. They knew they'd be back soon.
