Some time passed after Bruce's and Diana's date, and Bruce decided to go to the Justice League Headquarters and ask Diana to dinner.
So after a long time he was back, he saw some new members joined, he saw Superman having lunch so he went over to his friend.
Bruce: Hey Clark
Superman: Oh, Hey Bruce, I didn't expect you here!
Bruce: Well I had to talk to Diana, so I figured why not visit this place again, I have to say I missed it…
Superman smiled and gestured for Bruce to sit with him.
Superman: Yeah we missed you too buddy, Diana went out but she will be back shortly, so we can have lunch together while you wait.
Bruce: Sure, so how are things here? I see you have some new members.
Superman: Yep, things are good, the new members are also quite good but they still got a long time to train.
Bruce: Well its good the Justice League is expanding, it pulls off some of the weight from shoulders for you guys.
Superman: Yeah, but still we cant send them into some big fights, they are good don't get me wrong, but some of them are overconfident. They think they can beat anybody and that way of thinking will get them nowhere.
Bruce: Well, I actually think you should send them against a stronger opponent, that way they see that they are not that good and they ground themselves a little…
Superman: Yeah, maybe…so what do you want to talk about to Diana?
Bruce sighs and looks at Clark
Bruce: Well I guess I can tell you, I mean we are friends.
Superman: Oh, wow normal life really changed you
Superman was laughing, while Bruce was glaring at him.
Bruce: Well, I wanted to ask her out to dinner…
Superman: Ohh, thats amazing news Bruce! I didn't know you have feelings for Diana, but I mean at some point all of us thought there was something going between you two.
Bruce: Really? Why?
Superman: Well it wasn't like obvious, but a little touch here and there, and you watching her all the time from a corner.
Bruce: Well I guess I just lied to myself all this time, but now that I am not Batman anymore, I think I have a chance at something great in my life and I am going to take it.
Superman: Well good for you Bruce, I am really happy to see you finally giving love a chance.
Bruce: Thank you Clark.
Superman: No problem Bruce, oh, there she is. I am going back to my room, I wish you luck.
Superman got up and left, waving to Bruce as he left.

Diana saw Bruce sitting at the table and went over to him.
Diana: Hey Bruce, what are you doing here?
Bruce: Hey Diana, well I was looking for you actually.
Diana: Really? What for?
Diana sat opposite of him waiting for him to answer.
Bruce: I was wondering if you would like to join me for dinner tomorrow?
Diana smiled, she was waiting for him to ask her out, but so much time passed she thought he would never do it.
Diana: I would love to Bruce, I was actually waiting for you to ask me that.
Bruce looked a little surprised when she said that.
Bruce: Really?
Diana: Yeah, but I didn't think you would.
Bruce: Yeah, well I am not that good with these type of things, but now I am glad that I asked.
Diana: I am glad too, so tomorrow?
Bruce: Yeah PM
Diana: Okay, see you then
As they got up Diana walked up to him and kissed him on the cheek and walked away.
Bruce stood there for a few seconds, and left with a big smile on his face.
