The soft music played and their feet moved. Hands clasped together, Lysander skillfully led Eden step by step while they navigated the dance.
Eden took a step further, backward, left and right. And then stepped on Lysander from time to time.
"Oh, sorry." He bit his lower lip while he moved, trying to be careful about where his feet went. He looked down but Lysander casually said,
"No. Don't look down. Look at me." Lysander smiled as their eyes met again. "Keep your eyes on me. At all times..."
Eden stared at him while they danced. "You really are good at this. How long have you been dancing or what?"
Lysander smiled. "I don't know, maybe ever since I could walk?" He shrugged, their feet still sweeping through the dancefloor.
Eden stepped on his feet again. "Sorry."
Lysander laughed softly. "Don't bother. Continue dancing."
