He feared she would expose him. But he also couldn't bring himself to kill her. And so he decided to do something else.
Make her life more miserable that she wouldn't dare speak a word about what she knew.
King Edward had used her most beloved treasure against her. Her dear son who was still young - Elvis.
Elvis was still a kid back then who didn't know anything. And Queen Elizabeth adored her so much. So king Edward used it against her.
He threatened to kill the baby if she said anything. And he threatened to also make his life miserable before his death in the future if she said anything.
