Felix Devereux finally arrived at the palace that night.
He had managed to sneak his way through the palace, avoiding guards and all just to find Eden's room.
He was strangely familiar with the layout of the palace and so he was able to find his way to the guest room. And then found the one which belonged to Eden.
He was still outside as he got out an emerald stone. He held it firmly in his arms, staring at it as though it held the answers and solution to all his problems.
And maybe it just did.
He had gotten it from the adventures he had had. In one of his wild chases for magical artifacts and all, he had found it.
He had read about it. And he knew it was a magical tool that could be used to drain the powers of someone.
The object would drain the powers of any magical being it touched and it would go into the stone.
Felix planned to use it on Eden.
