Chapter 231 - 《Naruto: Deidara's Struggle》Chapter 46: C4 Special Type: Pursuer

Boom!

With a deafening explosion, the Asura Path, which had been sliced in half by the Evil God, suddenly reactivated. Its lower half was indeed destroyed, but its upper half remained operational, continuing its assault.

The twin cannons mounted on its shoulders fired two massive clay shells, catching the Evil God off guard and striking him directly with a thunderous blast.

These two massive clay shells, each the size of a truck, were crafted from Perfect Clay. The resulting explosion was of immense power, easily reaching S-rank levels.

However, as the flames and smoke cleared, the Evil God stood there unscathed. His pitch-black skin shimmered faintly with an obscure glow, showing not the slightest sign of injury.

"Hahahaha!"

"This explosion feels incredible! Come on! More! Give me more!"

"Make me feel alive!"

The Evil God turned and ran directly toward the Asura Path, positioning himself arrogantly in front of its cannons, as if daring them to do their worst.

Deidara, however, remained calm in the face of the Evil God's provocation. He glanced at the Asura Path, then at the Death Wings, which had also suffered damage from the explosion.

It wasn't hard for him to reach a conclusion.

The Evil God could only curse one target at a time. During the previous explosion, the Asura Path hadn't suffered any feedback damage.

But this detail no longer mattered. Kakuzu and Hidan had already retreated to a safe distance. Now, it was time to end the battle in a simple, brutal manner.

Whoosh!

Deidara spat out a small white clay sphere. It looked unremarkable, even crudely made. The sphere accelerated as it descended, heading straight for the Evil God's head.

"Oh? You don't seriously think this little thing can kill me, do you?"

The Evil God glanced up, a disdainful smirk curling at his lips.

Deidara didn't respond to the taunt.

Amidst the howling wind, he slowly raised his right hand to his chest. Beneath his fluttering golden hair, his expression turned fervent and ecstatic.

"Art is… an explosion!"

"Ha!"

The small, brilliant white sphere began to expand. Centered on the Evil God, it emitted boundless light and heat. At first, it was only the size of a house, but in an instant, it grew as large as a villa.

Blinking against the blinding light, one might miss the moment when it expanded to the size of a hill.

Yet, its rate of expansion showed no signs of slowing. The massive, incandescent sphere continued to grow, consuming and melting everything in its path, as if determined to engulf the entire world.

"Evil God Shock Value +8000." "Ōnoki Shock Value +4000." "…"

"Super Light/Heavy-Weight Rock Technique!"

Feeling the overwhelming heat and shockwave, Ōnoki grabbed Deidara and flew rapidly higher into the sky. Looking down, he saw the massive, still-expanding sphere below. Its color had shifted from brilliant white to a fiery red.

"What is this technique called? It's absolutely absurd."

For the first time, the usually proud Ōnoki admitted his own weakness.

His disciple's power had reached a level he could scarcely comprehend.

"The Sun!"

"What do you think? The name's fitting, isn't it?" Deidara's excitement grew at Ōnoki's acknowledgment.

"The Sun?" Ōnoki murmured to himself.

Below, the fireball had already consumed several mountain peaks, spreading its light and heat across the entire region. It truly resembled a second sun.

Of course, Ōnoki wasn't the only one shocked. The people of Amagakure (formerly the Village Hidden in the Rain), who had retreated to a safe distance, were equally stunned.

"Deidara's pulling out that move again?"

"Even seeing it for the second time, it's still just as awe-inspiring," Kakuzu remarked, glancing back. Despite their distance from the explosion, the shockwave was still powerful enough to uproot massive trees.

These trees, caught in the searing winds, spontaneously ignited, further intensifying the already scorching environment.

"With this, the Evil God should be dead, right? Too bad I didn't get to kill him myself," Hidan muttered, clicking his tongue in mild disappointment.

But the outcome defied everyone's expectations.

Just as Deidara thought the battle was over, a black-and-white figure began to reform. Even the crimson scythe was restored, looking exactly as it had before.

"Hahahaha!"

"Hahahaha!"

The Evil God's maniacal laughter echoed once more. He glanced at the melted remains of the Death Wings, which had suffered from his synchronized curse, then looked up at Deidara high in the sky.

"That move of yours was spectacular. It's been ages since I've felt such exhilaration."

"But unfortunately for you, I am absolutely immortal!"

"Absolutely immortal?"

Both Deidara and Ōnoki were skeptical of this claim.

"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World!"

A transparent cube formed in Ōnoki's hands. After a brief aim, a beam of light shot downward, enveloping the Evil God.

Dust Release disassembles targets at the atomic level. Ōnoki refused to believe that even this wouldn't stop the Evil God.

The Evil God made no attempt to dodge. He stood there, letting the Dust Release engulf him, his lips still curled in a disdainful smirk.

Beep!

The Evil God was obliterated.

But within mere seconds, the black-and-white figure began to reform. Once again, the Evil God stood reborn.

"I told you, I am absolutely immortal!"

"That's impossible!" Deidara retorted. "If you were really as invincible as you claim, why aren't you leading the ancient gods?"

"And how did the Sage of Six Paths manage to suppress you?"

"You must have a weakness—perhaps sealing techniques or mental attacks."

"Smart boy."

The Evil God slung his crimson scythe over his shoulder, nodding in approval.

"But so what? Neither you nor your companions possess the means to exploit my weaknesses."

"My weakness exists, but for you, it might as well not."

"No!" Deidara denied his claim.

He spat out a long, grotesque clay worm covered in countless small holes. Each hole contained a summoning seal.

Deidara tossed the worm up and down in his hand before throwing it toward the Evil God below.

"Still trying pointless tricks?"

"Fine. I'll give you a little more time. But if you bore me, I'll go after your companions instead."

The Evil God remained motionless, partly because he couldn't reach Deidara and Ōnoki in the sky.

He hoped to use psychological warfare to break their morale.

But he was wrong.

Deidara extended both hands, releasing identical clay worms in rapid succession. Their sheer number was overwhelming, raining down like a storm, filling the sky like countless stars.

"You're out of chances."
