*{Three months ago }*( *kaiden POV)*
I was in my room working on some important files when a maid came to call me that Lena has arrived in the mansion already.
A smile immediately lit up on my face but remembered someone too and the smile turned to a frown.
I quickly rushed down stairs and into the living room only to see Lena in a blue dress standing and my mother on the sofa sitting with her legs crossed.
I know my mom for someone who likes likes snow lions existence but she doesn't appreciate the ones that are indirectly being used and to clarify, Lena is practically one of ZRAA hotel girls.
I just face palmed my self internally. I and Lena stopped having any sexual activities few days after we met because I saw her to be someone more different from the rest who thinks their whole life should be working for Mr. Bronson, so actually we are just friends, I found her really interesting because I haven't seen another snow lions except from when I started to know the ZRAA hotel and their illegal dealings.
When Lena called me earlier today saying she wanted to meet me in person, I just had to book her out like I always do when we just want to hang out and talk, it does sound weird but the fact that Lena wouldn't always be put on bookings to go please other customers made me happy that at least she would be set free from some part of terror.
When I tryed to make a deal with Mr Bronson before hand on taking Lena as my concubine, the man immediately declined it reason he doesn't want to sell his most protenage Snow lion and business is not all about the money but it's the customers who is still ready to pay even though the goods is not available. Those where his dirty words which he said
I snapped out of my thoughts when my mom finally said.
" Hello kaiden, I thought to pay you a visit since for the past few weeks you have been really busy,so I thought we would have a talk, mother to son". She said with a soft smile not reaching her eyes.
As much as only I and Lena knows that there is nothin going on between us but the others for sure thinks she's just a prostitute that comes to please my sexual desires and one of the others is my mother.
" Mom, actually I already have other plans, am going out and it's something important so this talk can't be held now maybe later" I said , I added a little lie in the Truth. I could already see her face go sour because she is thinking my plans are with Lena and I choose Lena over her.
Lena continued to stand still like a statue as if making a single move would make the woman in front of her shoot daggers and she would die instantly. The atmosphere felt awkward and filled with enimity towards Lena.
" Okay, I would wait" my mother said standing up from the sofa and walked past me with a deep frown on her face.
I immediately led Lena by signal that this is an opportunity to get out of here. We entered one of my cars and drove out of the mansion's versinity . I parked near a nearby park . Lena started firstly with the conversation.
" Thanks kaiden, I totally thought that you were going to regard your mom instead, I didn't expect you to pick me over her"
" No probs actually, my mother and I can have the conversation later and anyways I didn't had her in mind to come visit me anyways you wanted to talk to me about something important right?"
I saw her face sunk into a deep frown
" I couldn't tell any other person, even when I told gabi.....she only told me to get it out of me... actually kaiden, I'm pregnant for Mr huston,one of mr bronson customers who comes regularly and I know mr bronson wouldn't be happy at all about this news and the only option is to abort it but something tells me I want to keep it but I can't do anything regarding the baby, and mr bronson would never let me go at all even if I were to tell him that I want to keep the unborn child....I just don't know what to do at all kaiden... I'm so confused right now, mr huston is freaking married and has children and I'm sure this news either won't go well with him because it would tarnish his family's image to the public.....I so feel less like screaming out of frustration kaiden" Lena said , she was totally stressed.
" Now this is a problem, how can this now be sought out?, If you really want to know how I think about this..... it's better you keep the child, mr bronson has just recently lost two of his snow lions so if he really needs you so bad, he would have to at least comply with your request of wanting to be a mother" I said, like as if it were that easy to do but I just put my hope up.

When I got home that evening, my mom was at the mini parlour watching something on the TV. I went from behind her and hugged her from her back while she still sat on the sofa.
"Ahh...kaiden you scared me , I didn't expect your touch at all..." She said almost laughing.
I let go from the hug and went to sit beside her on the sofa.
" How are you doing mom, hope you weren't too bored all alone" I said with a smile on my face.
" I'm fine kaiden....I wasn't too bored since I'm practically used to it" she said and let out a soft laugh.
" Really.... even though am here with you, seriously mom" I said jokingly
" Yeah....you and your father are always out for business across countries and I am home feeling absolutely bored and I wanted to see my only son." Mom said.
" Hmmmm.... yeah mom, I didn't think I would be joining dad at Canada, you should probably go stayed with him, you know how dad is when it comes to family being around..for him to be able to see and know is safe, if you go, you would stand as a representative that everyone who isn't fine would seem fine to dad's eyes because he has seen you instead" I said and both of us laughed it out.
" Yeah it's true, your dad is so blunt.....I should probably go and stay with him, then help me inform doland that I would be traveling in the next two days" she said
" Okay mother, I will"
" Kaiden, I also want to say , that girl that was here earlier should in no circumstances enter this family, not even any other random prostitute, I and your father would totally disagree on that, the only individual entitled to be in this family is a family of high reputation and wealth just like our's should be able to get married to you, nobody wants a trash to be the headlines of the news or reporters of you getting married,so if not for your self kaiden, think about this family reputation which is kept clean and I want it to remain the same" she said solemnly and immediately stood up and left the mini parlour.

After a few weeks later after the talk I had with Lena, I heard she later aborted the bady and two days after the abortion, she slumped and died in her sleep, when I heard the news about Lena's death, it got me feeling really bad that she died even though she didn't deserve it and now I don't know how my mother or the world would react when they hear I kept a snow lion under my roof as a concubine which is not actually the complete truth. I continued to stare at the necklace which was in-between my fingers still deep in thoughts, I found this necklace on my suit that night I bumped into a girl wearing a Vail and since then, that specific person can't just get off my mind when ever I think of her, I'm not sure whether this necklace belonged to the unknown girl but since she was the only one I bumped into that evening, I'm guessing she must be the one.
