Raditz in Mystic State and Hit with his hands in his pockets stood separated by flying sand and dust. Misty light particles between them floated leisurely like a veil, adding a desolate, ancient atmosphere to the scene.
Renso retreated a considerable distance, making room for their battle. He understood this would be an incomparable fight. At his level, participating was inadvisable—even watching from afar risked accidental injury.
But the two seemed frozen, neither moving.
Raditz was thinking. He'd heard of the Time-Skip technique and generally understood its effects, but knowing wasn't the same as experiencing. 0.1 seconds was very brief, yet sufficient for Hit. Breaking the Time-Skip without taking several hits and comprehending Hit's movements would be impossible.
Hit was waiting. He didn't need to strike first—merely wait for Raditz to attack, then counter. His moves would be fatal blows when they came.
So the two maintained a delicate balance, neither moving.
"So powerful. Are they fighting with their minds?" Renso wondered, unable to understand. In his opinion, such powerful individuals were formidable no matter what they did.
Finally, the collision of their auras disrupted the wind's direction, causing sand to fly wildly. Raditz made the first move.
In the blink of an eye, Raditz rushed before Hit, fist raised and about to strike down.
But Hit didn't move—didn't even remove his hands from his pockets. Renso was stunned.
"Why..." He didn't finish his first word before his eyes widened. He saw Raditz vanish from thin air, then reappear behind Hit!
Raditz moved to Hit's back instantly with barely any windup, punching directly—speed beyond Renso's comprehension. That initial attack had been a feint. This blow was the real assault.
This punch must connect, right? Renso held his breath, eyes bulging.
BANG! Sure enough, something flew with one punch! Except it wasn't Hit who was sent flying—it was Raditz.
Renso's excited expression froze on his face. He blinked, momentarily losing his capacity for thought. Hit still stood there, but Raditz had been launched? How was this possible!
Raditz traced a graceful arc through the air before landing. He slightly absorbed the momentum and stood firmly, already three hundred meters from Hit.
His time had just been skipped by Hit. Hit's Time-Skip surpassed Raditz's Instant Transmission, rendering teleportation negligibly effective. That blow had targeted Raditz's vitals without mercy, the tremendous force striking him with excruciating pain.
Truly the universe's number one assassin!
"Again!" Raditz shouted, launching another teleportation—this time attacking from the front, also at extreme speed.
BANG! Raditz flew backward again. This time the strike hit his face. The massive shock made him briefly dizzy, blood dripping from his nose.
Hit calmly returned his fist to his pocket.
"Such a technique is hard to imagine without fighting against it personally. Relying on theory is truly useless. You have to experience it to understand this move." Raditz wiped away the blood stains and took two deep breaths before attacking again.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Again and again, Raditz rushed toward Hit only to be beaten back repeatedly, accumulating many wounds on his body and bruises across his chest.
Renso watched the appalling scene, his jaw trembling. "What's happening? Why can't I even see him move, and why does Raditz keep getting hit?"
"Raditz, if you continue fighting like this, you'll die. You've already lost."
Hit reminded him indifferently. He seemed to have lost interest in the fight. After all, Time-Skip was too mystical. Unless one's energy reached a certain threshold, breaking through that 0.1-second barrier was impossible.
"Huff..." Raditz stood once more. "Continue. I've cracked your Time-Skip."
"Really?" Hit's eyes sharpened.
At that moment, Raditz launched another attack, charging head-on once more!
Hit sighed silently: Isn't it the same? He activated Time-Skip, walking in time's gaps, easily avoiding Raditz's assault and launching a counterattack. The punch aimed at Raditz's throat—a fatal strike.
BOOM!
The same loud noise—but this was the vibration from Hit's hand colliding with Raditz's arm!
Hit was stunned. Renso was stunned. But Raditz laughed. He seized the moment of Hit's confusion and delivered a heavy punch to Hit's abdomen. The tremendous force made Hit scrape across the ground in retreat, carving two deep trenches.
"You..." Hit's abdomen tightened, pain following. Raditz's punch hadn't been light.
"How about it? I told you I'd cracked your Time-Skip."
"Was it coincidence?" Hit's eyes changed slightly, unwilling to believe.
However, Raditz's next attack had already arrived—flying like a leaping dragon, fast as lightning. When Hit quickly activated Time-Skip again, just 0.1 seconds later, he was struck once more.
This punch passed through his defense, hitting his chin directly!
Hit was forced back several steps, his expression changing dramatically. This couldn't be luck anymore—hitting him twice consecutively proved the opponent had truly succeeded.
"How is this possible? How did you do it?" Hit couldn't believe it.
The essence of Time-Skip lay in jumping through time, which couldn't be compensated for by speed in the conventional sense. Even Raditz's Instant Transmission was useless, so how had Raditz managed it?
"Your movements. I predicted your movements. From the blows I suffered just now, I observed your attack pattern, then deduced it. So I can anticipate your position after using Time-Skip."
"I see. Your combat awareness is beyond imagination." Hit admired Raditz from the bottom of his heart, his interest rekindling.
"So we can begin the second round. Come at me with your full strength."
Raditz gathered energy atop his Mystic State foundation. Suddenly, a burst of divine aura enveloped his body. The flames transformed from inside out, changing color—fiery red light shining like sunset glow. At that moment, Raditz's hair turned red, pure and noble, his entire being sublimated.
Super Saiyan God!
"This is another transformation of yours?" Hit's eyes sharpened, immediately noticing Raditz differed from before.
It turned out he hadn't been the only one holding back—his opponent had also kept a card hidden. What an interesting individual. Hit's iceberg face, unchanged for thousands of years, actually showed a smile.
Hit removed his hand from his pocket. His momentum shifted from calm and profound to razor-sharp. As the universe's number one assassin, his attack techniques were unparalleled. Time-Skip was merely a skill he took pride in—his true strength extended far beyond that.
Renso, watching from a distance, saw two figures clash together—one sacred and noble, the other unfathomable.
