Chapter 419 - Chapter 419: Rukon's Victory

The battle raged fiercely below, but the sense of pressure experienced by each combatant differed drastically. Rukon's strikes remained powerful and precise, his interest growing with each exchange—his strength actually increasing as the fight progressed. But Doren gradually weakened, the prolonged state of high tension draining his energy reserves as sweat poured from him like rain.

Facing the phantom-like speed of Rukon's relentless assault, Doren could barely keep pace. His arms already ached terribly, strength steadily abandoning them.

BANG! Finally, Rukon shattered the unsustainable equilibrium with a devastating punch, hammering Doren into the ground and carving winding cracks across the surface. Enduring the severe pain, Doren leaped up, intent on counterattacking. But Rukon moved one step ahead, delivering a kick that sent him crashing down again.

Immediately afterward, Rukon fired a green sphere of light. Though small in appearance, it contained terrifying energy!

"That's—" Zangya was taken aback.

Raditz placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder and nodded. "Seems Broly taught him. I didn't expect the kid to master the Gigantic Meteor already."

The fist-sized energy sphere approached Doren. Gasping for breath, he rolled and sprang up, gritting his teeth as he caught it with both hands and launched a blue ki wave in response. "This kind of attack won't defeat me!"

He roared, veins bulging across his muscles as the ki wave resisted Rukon's energy sphere.

However, the moment they collided, the green energy sphere suddenly expanded—swelling to approximately two meters in diameter, its power doubling instantly! Doren nearly screamed accusations of cheating. What kind of technique was this?!

Broly showed a rare smile. His signature technique was domineering and unreasonable by design. Rukon had learned it well.

The blue ki wave was rapidly overwhelmed by the giant energy sphere. The orb burned with tremendous heat, scorching the air itself until the ki wave evaporated like boiling seawater. Doren could only abandon the beam struggle, instead raising his arms to block.

The solid space trembled violently! The massive impact devastated the ground, raising layers of scorched smoke and debris. Two shocking trenches were gouged from Rukon's position to an extremely distant point. The searing wind blew all the way to the observation platform, making everyone feel the surge of energy.

Even Raditz couldn't help but marvel—Super Saiyan 1 level at such a young age!

The smoke dispersed slowly. At the end of the deep trench, Doren's legs trembled as they struggled to support his body. Thick smoke drifted from his mouth, the sweat covering him evaporated layer by layer. His body seemed to have been penetrated by some overwhelming force.

After holding out for several seconds, Doren finally collapsed forward, knees striking the ground, hands planted to prevent total collapse. His entire body shook continuously.

"Huff... huff..." Sweat rolled down his face, his breathing so rapid it sounded like a high-powered air pump running at maximum capacity. The light had faded from Doren's eyes—he knew he'd lost. Lost to a child.

It turned out Raditz had never been bluffing. If he couldn't even defeat a child, how could he possibly face anyone else in that family?

The strength in Doren's arms suddenly gave out completely. His entire upper body struck the ground with a dull thud. The cold surface made him shudder, but he lay there stunned and unmoving.

"He... lost?" Fuwa stared at the humiliated Doren in disbelief, cold sweat breaking out across his own skin. He'd expected Doren might lose to Raditz himself, but never imagined even Raditz's son would prove superior. How powerful must Universe Seven's new Supreme Kai truly be?!

"It's over. Rukon has won." Vados announced the result.

"What? That's it?" Champa seemed a bit unsatisfied, holding his head with slight boredom. "Would've been better if it were more intense."

"The outcome would be the same regardless." Raditz waved at Rukon. "Come back."

Rukon had fought comfortably, unleashing his full abilities for the first time and defeating an opponent decisively. He was thrilled. The boy leaped to Raditz's side, accepting praise with unmistakable pride.

Fuwa sighed softly and brought his attendants to Doren's side to heal him.

After treatment concluded, Doren's aura remained diminished. His head hung low, all arrogance stripped away. He followed behind Fuwa, face pale, mouth moving stiffly.

"Lord Raditz, please forgive my rudeness."

"It's fine. I didn't take it to heart." Raditz graciously forgave him. The opponent had learned his lesson and seemed to have gained some insight. He would likely change going forward.

Some people remained ignorant until they suffered consequences. Strength was the most effective teacher.

Having experienced this defeat, Doren's spirit had finally been tempered. He no longer felt complacent about his own power. Raditz had become Supreme Kai after only a few years because he possessed the strength to justify it, not merely through tenure.

He confessed to Fuwa guiltily, "Lord Supreme Kai, I know I was wrong. Please let me continue studying under your guidance."

"It's good that you understand. Take your time. You should thank Lord Raditz."

Fuwa had a gentle temperament and treated his successor well, comforting him patiently.

Raditz didn't want to listen to their philosophical discussion. He'd done Fuwa a favor without any real cost to himself. So he approached Champa and turned to Vados.

"This time I completed a task across universes. Theoretically, as a Supreme Kai, I shouldn't be dealing with such troublesome arrangements."

Listening to Raditz's complaint, Vados smiled lightly. "I heard you have nothing much to do in Universe Seven these days, correct?"

"Who said that? I eliminated a monster not long ago."

"Is there any enemy worthy of being called a monster by you anymore?" Vados spoke with emotion. "It hasn't been long since you left my tutelage, yet your progress is truly remarkable! If Lord Champa doesn't start training seriously, I'm afraid he'll be surpassed."

"Hmph! Even if he trained for ten thousand years, it would be useless!" Champa and Beerus were indeed brothers—their tone and phrasing were identical.

Vados had deliberately teased Champa, and his indignant response proved quite entertaining.

She looked at Raditz's family. "Actually, beyond Lord Fuwa's request, Lord Champa also hoped you would visit. I merely extended the invitation according to their wishes."

Champa obviously missed those foods more than Raditz himself.

"Then we'll be going..."

"Lord Raditz's family is welcome to travel and enjoy Universe Six, and I mean what I say." Vados hadn't deceived Raditz into solving internal problems—she truly intended to fulfill her promise.

Rukon was delighted to hear this, applauding enthusiastically.

Whis nodded toward Raditz. "Then I'll return first. I need to report to Lord Beerus."

"Safe travels. We'll return on our own." Raditz bid Whis farewell. With his Supreme Kai abilities, he could travel between the two universes freely, controlling his own coming and going.

Whis nodded, tapping his staff lightly. Brilliant light enveloped him as he shot skyward once more.

"Then shall we depart as well?"

"Planet Sadala!" Raditz's eyes lit up with a smile.
