Over the next few days, Beerus and Whis enjoyed a feast on the grounds of celebrating Raditz's ascension to godhood, then returned with satisfaction.
The people on Earth saw Beerus and Whis off, and at the same time all learned the news that Raditz had become a god. Everyone congratulated Raditz one after another, though of course some people weren't entirely happy.
Zangya was unhappy when she learned Raditz had become a god. She had a smile on her face, but it was strained.
In the courtyard, flowers and grass fluttered in the night wind. Zangya sat alone on a swing, gripping heavy iron chains. The force from her hands nearly crushed the entire chain.
Suddenly, a large hand covered the back of Zangya's delicate hand. The warm touch made her relax all at once. This familiar feeling was undoubtedly Raditz's.
"If you squeeze any harder, it'll break." Raditz whispered in Zangya's ear.
Zangya's ears tingled, and a burst of warmth penetrated her heart, causing her tense body to soften.
Raditz embraced Zangya from behind, the two pressed together. "I know what you're thinking. The dimension of life after becoming a god is different from ordinary life—we are indeed different. But in fact, in the universe, the gap between mortals and gods isn't that vast. I'll help you qualify as a god too, and we'll be together. Don't worry."
"With or without it, that's what I wanted to say," Raditz continued.
Zangya released her grip and supported Raditz's strong arm. "Majin Buu has been dealt with by you, and Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction, has awakened. Is there still any danger?"
Raditz shook his head slightly. "The escaped Frieza, the secretly active Towa, and the unknown demon god Demigra—these are things we know about but haven't yet faced. And there may be many unknown powerhouses." He gazed at the starry sky and took a deep breath. "Lord Beerus is indeed powerful, but he can't act at any time. The God of Destruction judges things mainly by whether they should be destroyed, not by good and evil."
That last sentence made Zangya tremble. Raditz had stated it very matter-of-factly, but the truth was evident. The God of Destruction was only responsible for destruction and had no reason to act to protect anything. In this regard, the completely neutral Angel race was even more vivid. Their position was too elevated—the struggles between good and evil, love and hatred that ordinary people saw were nothing in their eyes.
"So we have to continue training for the powerful enemies that may appear in the future."
"I also want to become stronger..."
"I'll take you to train together." Raditz laughed.
"After all, I'm your wife—I can't be too weak!" Zangya smiled from the bottom of her heart. Even after becoming a god, Raditz was still the same Raditz as before.
As for the future, it would be best if she could become a god and never be separated from Raditz. She believed in his promise to her.
Raditz's hands began wandering, provoking a flush across Zangya's face.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Zangya asked in a restrained voice.
"It's not the first time. Why are you still shy?"
"You're a Supreme Kai..."
"So what if I'm a Supreme Kai? Gods are still men." Raditz smiled slightly and teleported into the room. Now teleporting to any location at will was no problem for him, with greatly reduced consumption. He could be described as extremely proficient.
The next morning arrived with new sunshine. Raditz rose early, meditated for a while, and teleported to the Sacred World of the Kais.
Under the ancient tree, the Old Kai was checking on the mortal realm, while the other two were reading ancient texts and studying diligently. Over their long existence, they'd learned many things, but the universe's history was so vast there was always knowledge they hadn't yet touched for them to delve into.
As soon as they saw Raditz, the two immediately set down their books and said in shock, "Why are you here?"
"Is that... strange?" Raditz raised an eyebrow.
"Haha, I can't get used to it yet." The Kaioshin shook his head. "After all, you're the first Supreme Kai not to stay in the Sacred World of the Kais."
They hadn't expected Raditz to return to the Sacred World of the Kais so soon. Generally, Raditz wouldn't visit unless there was important business or their emergency communication. Could something have happened? But their ancestor had been monitoring the mortal realm and hadn't noticed anything. The Kaioshin and Kibito looked at the Old Kai, only to see him gazing at a girl in the crystal ball with a swaying waist and giggling, not even noticing Raditz's arrival.
Alas... the divine team wasn't simple at all.
"Ancestor, Raditz is here." Kibito reminded quietly, finally alerting the Old Kai.
He quickly changed his demeanor, posing as a serious elder. "Oh, Raditz, you're here."
The three were speechless.
Raditz pulled out a document and placed it before them. "I want to discuss the development of Universe Seven with you. This is my proposal."
"The development of the universe... the five-year plan?" The Kaioshin and Kibito read the large characters on the paper in unison.
They looked down further, and the more they read, the more shocked they became, finally shaking their heads in disbelief.
"You want to double the average combat power of the universe within five years? That's impossible! Absolutely impossible!" The Kaioshin exclaimed.
They usually made plans spanning thousands of years—where was there ever a five-year plan? To improve the overall combat power of the universe, the difficulty was unimaginable. Let alone five years, even 500 years might not be enough.
Raditz had his own considerations. He felt that under the development of the Galactic Justice League he'd established, the overall strength of Universe Seven had improved greatly. In addition, the progress of Goku and the others wasn't exaggerated compared to the past. But whether he could change their ranking among the twelve universes, he didn't yet know.
However, Raditz wanted to try as much as possible.
"I'll have Jeice and Burter handle it. With the alliance's technology and training experience, it'll spread throughout the entire universe. The Grand Kai's several Universal Martial Arts Tournaments have already laid the foundation for this. I believe there won't be a problem."
"Is that so? But five years..." The Kaioshin still couldn't believe such a significant change could be achieved in such a short time.
"The combat effectiveness of most beings in the universe is still at a relatively low stage. Doubling it isn't a problem," Raditz said.
If it were his former self, he would never share the alliance's technology and methods of improving strength with other galaxies. But after becoming a Supreme Kai, his horizons had broadened. Raditz felt he was no longer just from the Northern Galaxy, but from Universe Seven as a whole.
Perhaps the level truly was different, and his way of thinking about problems had changed as well.
"If it can be done, it will be a tremendous achievement..."
"Then I'll have Jeice and the others contact you, Grand Supreme Kai."
"Why me?" The Kaioshin pointed to himself in surprise. You were the one who proposed this matter, so why did it inexplicably fall on me?
Raditz shrugged. "I want to train, but I don't have time. If Towa finds another powerful enemy, I'll be required to fight."
The Kaioshin couldn't refute this for a moment and could only nod heavily...
