"Although I admit your speed and power are enough to defeat me, compared to the War God, neither you nor I are anything but ants," Zhuyue said bitterly.
"Not just us— even the Final Dragon King Hatileim was killed in one strike by War God Altrius." At this, Zhuyue's dimming dragon eyes flared with hatred.
The Final Dragon Hatileim was the oldest Dragon Spirit, born from the god's remains and the strongest among them. After confronting the War God, he was instantly killed. All Dragon Spirits hate the War God.
But it doesn't matter; the War God is too strong, absurdly so. No one can stand against him. If the War God wanted, this war that's dragged on thousands of years would have ended long ago.
However, for unknown reasons, after killing the Final Dragon, the War God never showed himself again. That remains a mystery.
"Maybe. Even if all races combined, they might not kill the War God. Especially since the Winged Beings were created by the War God, and the Illusion Species Abont Heim is a disciple of War God Altrius. The chance of winning is slim," Riku admitted calmly.
"But that's just now. One day, I will defeat the War God and reach the top." Suddenly, Riku's golden eyes gleamed with a sharp light as he said confidently, full of pride. No doubt he would do it.
An unbelievable human... maybe they really can turn the impossible into possible.
Staring blankly into Riku's eyes, Zhuyue was silent, these thoughts creeping into his mind.
"I don't represent all Dragon Spirits. I'm only a retainer of the Wise Dragon Reijin Levi," Zhuyue sighed.
"I know that. If you can find a way to contact Wise Dragon Reijin Levi, just tell him to contact me. I'll try to convince him," Riku said calmly, unsurprised.
"Heh, interesting." Zhuyue's pupils flickered with amusement as he looked at Riku. To go to the Dragon Spirits' lair, surrounded by so many of them, just to see the Wise Dragon—this was either incredible bravery or total recklessness.
But thinking again, since Riku could figure out their secret and toy with him so easily in battle, he definitely wouldn't do anything stupid.
This guy must have an ace up his sleeve, strong enough to escape even when all Dragon Spirits and Wise Dragon himself attacked together.
Many thoughts flashed through Zhuyue's mind. Finally, he looked deeply at Riku. "I understand. I'll find a way to contact Wise Dragon."
"Good. I'll leave a space mark on your dragon horn. If you want to reach me, just stimulate the mark," Riku said as he left a mark on Zhuyue's horn. "If that's settled, let's part for now. I'll wait for your message."
After finishing this, Riku didn't waste time and left through Shangri-La's transfer gate, clean and unbothered.
"Interesting human. Not worried I'll backstab or double-cross you?" Zhuyue muttered with curiosity, looking around the empty ruins.
As he spoke, he folded time again, restoring his body to peak condition.
"Maybe this great war will really be ended by a human all races once despised. I'd love to see the looks on everyone's faces then. It'll be fun," Zhuyue murmured, his dragon eyes glinting playfully.
"Anyway, better find Wise Dragon first." Finally, he shook his head and flew off into the distance.
Wise Dragon Reijin Levi wandered through space, unpredictable and not easy to find.
On the other side, a million meters away, Riku appeared and lifted the Seventh Gate, the state called "Jingmen."
Even now, after having the Seventh Gate open for such a long time, his body still ached unbearably.
"Phew, I'm totally wiped out. Exhausting as hell, but if I can pull the Dragon Breed over to our side, that's still some good news," Riku muttered with a pale face.
Maybe killing the White Dragon Zhu Yue would've earned him fifty thousand exchange points like the Demon King, but compared to recruiting the whole Dragon Breed, that's nothing. His goal was always simple: by any means necessary, take down the War God.
"Speaking of which, the abilities of Kyoka Suigetsu and Hanawa really are something. Even the Dragon Breed couldn't figure me out," Riku said, sliding his Zanpakutō blade horizontally in front of him, a satisfied smirk curling on his lips.
Every time his Zanpakutō merged with its soul, it unlocked two powers. One was the bug ability of Aizen, the big boss in Bleach—the illusion-type skill called Kyoka Suigetsu.
With this ability, Aizen could toy with captains like puppets, completely toying with them like kids.
Riku, after activating Kyoka Suigetsu, put Zhu Yue into a total hypnosis. In fact, all the attacking moves Zhu Yue made were just illusions formed from dust and black ash.
