Zhuyue had one more thing unsaid: Even if she wanted that time to heal, it was enough time by the moment Riku arrived. Killing him then would have been easy and pleasant. Why would a powerful dragon breed bother tricking him? Probably because she had long noticed his spatial abilities.

"Are you really that 'weak' human?" Zhuyue asked as if trying to confirm something, but she'd already pretty much figured it out. The body features matched a human's, and the other side had no reason to lie.

"Heh, interesting. If that's the case, then fight me. I want to see how a human like you can be so strong, and just how strong."Zhuyue's golden dragon eyes lit up with curiosity and battle hunger.
"You dragons really are a warlike bunch. But since you want to fight, I'm game. But I get to pick the location."Riku narrowed his eyes, cool and composed.
Better to deal with this hazard now than let it run wild here.
"Heh, fine."Zhuyue agreed without hesitation.
Without wasting time, Riku's figure blurred, stepping on the air like it was solid, his body shooting forward like a meteor.
The White Dragon watched his incredible speed with growing interest. Breaking physical limits like that was typical of beastmen's bloodline traits, but Riku was far beyond even that.
Before, Zhuyue thought he was flying. Turns out, he was literally stepping on air.

Instantly, a purple glowing chest appeared floating in front of Riku's eyes. Even at this speed, it stayed fixed there.
Riku's hand reached out eagerly and tapped to open the chest.

Zanpakutō Soul: Can instantly evolve a Zanpakutō, allowing Shikai and Bankai releases. The abilities gained depend on the user's luck.
"Zanpakutō Soul? No wonder it's a high-quality chest — what it drops feels like something exclusive."Riku's eyes lit up hearing the voice in his head.
He already had a shallow Zanpakutō, but it needed work to communicate with it and awaken Shikai and Bankai — too much hassle, so it stayed in storage.
Now with this, if he got a good ability, it would be a huge boost. After all, Death God powers weren't weak. Maybe he still couldn't beat the War God, but with good luck, taking on a dragon breed might be doable.
