"...Malun?"
Chiga frowned slightly, the name jogging his memory. He remembered that Krillin had once dated a woman by that name. If it was the same Malun, then Lapis was in for a headache. That woman had a reputation — manipulative, flirtatious, and more interested in money than emotions.
Still, knowing Lapis, he probably wouldn't take any real loss. At worst, he'd end up teaching a few of Malun's new boyfriends a hard lesson — just for the experience.
At that moment, Lazuli leaned closer against Chiga's chest and sniffed lightly. Her sharp blue eyes narrowed with suspicion.
"Hmm? Chiga, the scent on you... smells familiar."
A bead of sweat slid down Chiga's temple. Lazuli's sense of smell really is incredible, he thought. Without hiding anything, he told her everything that had happened earlier — from Bulma's power outburst to Yamcha's messy breakup.
Lazuli listened silently, then clicked her tongue. "Tsk, tsk. So Bulma finally broke up with that Yamcha. Honestly, not a bad thing for her. They were never a good match anyway."
Chiga shrugged, giving no further comment. Lazuli stretched lazily and stood, brushing her hair back.
"Well, I wish her luck finding someone better. I'm going to check on dinner."
Chiga nodded, ready to follow — but suddenly froze. A strange itch ran up his lower back, making him flinch. He sat back down quickly, a hand pressed against his tailbone.
Lazuli immediately noticed. Concern flashed across her face as she hurried back. "What's wrong, Chiga? Were you injured during that fight with Broly?"
"No," he said calmly. "That guy couldn't hurt me even if he tried. It's just... something feels weird. Nothing serious."
Without hesitation, Lazuli reached out to touch his back, completely unbothered by how close she was getting.
Since she wasn't shy, Chiga saw no reason to be either. He let her check freely, though she found nothing unusual.
Just then, Lapis stepped out of the kitchen, holding a spatula — only to freeze when he saw the scene. The spatula slipped from his hands, clattering loudly to the floor.
"Uh... Lazuli, can we maybe eat first? I have a date tonight, and then you two can... uh... do whatever."
"Lapis," Lazuli said coldly, her voice dripping with mock sweetness, "if you don't want to see your motorcycle turned into scrap, get back to the kitchen. Now."
"Yes, ma'am!" Lapis snapped to attention and spun around instantly, slamming the kitchen door shut.
A few seconds later, he crept back out, picked up the spatula with a guilty look, and mumbled, "Don't forget to wash it, got it..."
"Yes, my dear sister," he muttered under his breath as he retreated again.

Dinner came and went quietly. When Lapis finally headed out on his motorcycle, probably to see Malun, Chiga and Lazuli were left alone.
They didn't cross any lines — Chiga still felt something strange pulsing in his body. Instead, the two simply rested together, falling asleep in quiet comfort.
---
The next morning, sunlight filtered softly through the curtains. Lazuli stirred awake, groggily sitting up. She blinked when she saw Chiga, already awake, sitting cross-legged on the bed, arms folded, his expression calm but focused.
She hugged him from behind, her voice muffled and lazy. "Chiga, you're up early... What are you—huh? What is that?"
Her eyes widened in disbelief. A white tail extended from behind Chiga, coiling forward like a curious serpent. It swayed gently, gleaming under the morning light.
Chiga was staring at it thoughtfully. "So this is what that itch was," he murmured.
Without question, this tail had to be the result of absorbing Broly's bloodline power.
When he noticed Lazuli's astonished look, he smiled mischievously and flicked the tail to tickle her nose.
Lazuli sneezed twice, then gave him a glare that could melt steel. "Really funny," she said dryly, grabbing hold of the tail.
But unlike ordinary Saiyans, Chiga's tail wasn't a weakness. It was strong, flexible, and could even be used in combat when needed.
He stood up from the bed, and in an instant, a white battle coat shimmered into existence around him. Black pants formed beneath it, and his new tail wrapped neatly around his waist like a belt.
Since it had appeared naturally, he had no intention of cutting it off. Saiyan tails, after all, held a hidden purpose — they were the key to unlocking the legendary Super Saiyan 4 form.
Chiga had always favored that primal transformation — wild, fierce, and harmonizing perfectly with his Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline.
And now, he had another advantage: the calm divine energy of God Ki running through him. If he reached Super Saiyan 4, his power would soar to unimaginable heights.
All he needed now... was a moon.
Though the original moon had long been destroyed by Piccolo, that wasn't an issue. Chiga could easily create a new one with Earth Explosion Star, or have Vegeta use his Artificial Moon technique.
Either way, he just needed to see its light once.
Turning toward Lazuli, he smiled faintly. "How about we watch the moon together tonight?"
Lazuli blinked. "The moon? Sure, but... hasn't it been gone for ages?"
"Don't worry," Chiga said calmly. "If there isn't one, we'll make one ourselves."
"Huh?"
"You'll see soon enough."
Lazuli tilted her head, intrigued, then smiled softly. "Alright. I'll look forward to tonight."
---
They went downstairs to make breakfast together. Though Chiga didn't actually need food anymore, he valued the sense of routine — the small, human things that grounded him.
Halfway through their meal, the front door opened. Lapis trudged in, looking gloomy. He tossed his helmet aside, slumped on the couch, and muttered angrily to himself.
Chiga and Lazuli exchanged a glance. Lazuli set down her chopsticks.
"Lapis, what happened? You look like you want to punch a wall."
Her brother sighed, his face filled with frustration. "Sis, you wouldn't believe what I saw last night. Malun was surrounded by a bunch of guys — like flies! And the worst part? She knew all of them!"
Lazuli's eyes narrowed. "You didn't teach them a lesson?"
"I wanted to, but it turns out... they were all her ex-boyfriends."
"Nani!?" Lazuli slammed the table, fury flashing in her eyes. "Still hanging out with her exes? What does she take you for!?"
Lapis groaned, rubbing his temples. "Tell me about it... Guess I really picked the wrong girl this time."
