Uchiha Chiga seemed momentarily fooled by Sugar's innocent appearance, standing still as she approached. Just as she was about to reach him, his Rinnegan flickered with a faint light, locking eyes with hers.
Sugar felt a wave of satisfaction—she was sure her plan had worked. All she needed was a single touch, and no matter how powerful this "Purple Kirin" was, he'd turn into a toy under her control.
Had Doflamingo still been conscious, he would've stopped her instantly. He had already witnessed Chiga's Haki back at Navy Headquarters, an overwhelming force strong enough to resist nearly every Paramecia-type Devil Fruit.
But Chiga didn't intend to take any chances. The moment Sugar was caught in the gaze of his Rinnegan, her mind was pulled into darkness. A void opened in her consciousness, filled only by a pair of cold, violet Rinnegan eyes staring her down from above.
"Ahhh!!!"
Sugar screamed in terror, her eyes rolled back, and she collapsed, unconscious.
Because she had eaten the Hobby-Hobby Fruit at a young age, her mental state remained that of a child—easily frightened. Chiga's Rinnegan was particularly suited to disrupting minds like hers.
With Sugar's collapse, her Devil Fruit ability was dispelled. In an instant, every toy soldier in the factory reverted to their original human forms. Outside, memories once erased returned to their loved ones.
Most of the toys were once loyal soldiers under King Riku's command. Now restored, they stared down at their hands, dazed, barely able to process their return to humanity.
Then, someone shouted, breaking the silence.
"We're back!!!"

Outside the factory, a young girl with short pink hair was on a grassy lawn, training hard with a longsword almost twice her height.
Nearby stood a toy soldier with a top hat, red uniform, and a single leg—he watched her carefully, silently supporting her from afar.
Suddenly, the soldier's body began to change. He grew taller, his toy-like form fading away as he transformed into a muscular man wearing a red cloak and the armor of a gladiator.
The little girl paused mid-swing, eyes widening as her lost memories came rushing back. She turned to face him.
"Dad!"
That man was Kyros, and the girl was his daughter, Rebecca. Her voice snapped him back to reality. Without thinking, Kyros dashed forward, running as best he could with his single leg, and wrapped his daughter in his arms.
They held each other tightly, neither speaking for a long time. When Rebecca finally lifted her tear-streaked face, she whispered,
"Dad, Mom..."
"I know, Rebecca," Kyros murmured, pain flickering in his eyes. "I know…"
They fell silent again. Kyros gently stroked her back, then rose, picking up the sword she had dropped.
His expression hardened.
Diamante had been killed by Chiga, but the ones responsible for Scarlett's death were other members of the Donquixote Family. Still, it all traced back to them.
He now had his body back. Other loyalists to King Riku likely had as well. It was time to rally and head for the King's Plateau.
He knew full well he wasn't strong enough to defeat Doflamingo—but he didn't care. Even if he died, he'd take a few of them with him. More than that, he had to rescue King Riku.
Rebecca quickly realized what he intended. Though young, the years of hardship had matured her beyond her age. She ran ahead and spread her arms to block his path.
With only one leg, her father could never win against the Donquixote Family. It would be suicide.
But Kyros's resolve was unshaken. He looked at his daughter, love and sadness welling in his eyes. Gently, he patted her pink hair.
"Rebecca, if I don't return, don't try to avenge me. Train hard, live long, and wait for the right moment. Believe that justice will come."
He spoke those words for her sake, not because he believed them. Perhaps he once did. But after all he had seen, Kyros had lost faith—especially in the Navy.
Doflamingo was a pirate… and yet, officially recognized by the World Government. How could that be justice?
The Navy hadn't lifted a finger while Dressrosa suffered. Even if they came years later, would that delayed justice still matter?
This time, Kyros chose to act on his own.
Pushing Rebecca gently aside, he turned and began limping toward the King's Plateau, never looking back. He couldn't bear to see the look in her eyes.
What he didn't realize was that Rebecca, rather than staying behind, quietly followed him from a distance.

Inside the SMILE Factory,
The former toy soldiers were still overwhelmed by the miracle of their transformation. Their grateful eyes turned toward Chiga.
He met their gaze and said calmly,
"Everyone, I am Navy Admiral, the Purple Kirin. I know everything that happened in Dressrosa. You're free now."
At first, the revelation stunned them. Then came the wave of awe.
"I've been stuck in this cursed place for so long, I didn't even recognize him! That's Admiral Purple Kirin!"
"Our savior… He really came!"
"Admiral Chiga! Please, help Dressrosa!!!"
Tears flowed. Hardened men wept like children, their emotions finally breaking free.
Robin, watching from the side, was deeply moved. She turned to look at Chiga, her eyes softening.
In their time together, she had seen him liberate two nations from tyranny. Her view of the Navy had shifted.
Aokiji had helped her too, secretly—but his presence carried fear.
Chiga, however, gave her only a sense of peace. A sense of unwavering safety.
With him, she felt like nothing in the world could hurt her.
