Chiga's Rinnegan locked onto the nine colossal Sea Kings looming above. Without turning his head, he said calmly,
"Shirahoshi, tell them to drag Noah and pull Fish-Man Island to the surface."
Originally, Chiga had planned to do it himself. But now that these so-called guardians had shown up—and even had the nerve to speak to him that way—they weren't leaving without being taught a lesson.
Shirahoshi nodded and relayed Chiga's command to the massive Sea Kings overhead.
Unexpectedly, the Sea Kings did not obey.
All nine shook their massive heads in unison.
A bird-headed Sea King replied,
"King, it is not yet time. When you meet the other King, we will follow your command."
Shirahoshi, stunned by their rejection, turned to Chiga and said awkwardly,
"Lord Chiga… they said it's not time yet… and that I need to meet the other Kings first."
"So they're refusing?" Chiga's tone dropped. He wasn't interested in hearing anything further.
He had lost his patience.
Looking skyward, Chiga let out a cold snort. His body launched into the air, breaking through Fish-Man Island's protective bubble with ease. Then, he summoned Susanoo—a towering spectral warrior forged from dark purple chakra.
But he didn't stop there.
Channeling the power of the More-More Fruit, Chiga expanded Susanoo's size in an instant.
Three thousand meters.
Though the Sea Kings were longer—up to five thousand meters in length—the appearance of the three-thousand-meter-tall Susanoo made them seem like oversized fish in comparison.
From below, Neptune and Jinbe stared in awe.
Neptune swallowed hard, muttering,
"Is that… the giant they say lives in Admiral Purple Kirin's eyes? This is unreal…"
Jinbe remained silent—his mind racing. He had seen Chiga's Susanoo before, during the battle with Mihawk at Marineford, but it hadn't been anything close to this scale.
Clearly, Chiga hadn't even gone all out back then.
And if this wasn't his full strength now, then just how powerful was this man?
Above, Shirahoshi gazed at the enormous Susanoo with disbelief.
"That's Chiga-Sama?"
Outside the bubble, Susanoo stood tall. In its hands were two enormous energy blades, radiating a dark purple glow. The Sea Kings were momentarily frozen, staring at the figure with a sense of instinctive fear.
The bird-headed Sea King that had just spoken was now visibly panicked, its desire to flee written all over its face.
All nine Sea Kings began to shift and back away.
Chiga stood calmly in the diamond-shaped chamber atop Susanoo's head, arms crossed.
He didn't see them as a threat—not even remotely.
He looked down at the bird-headed Sea King and asked coldly,
"Was it you who said we had to wait for some 'King' to appear?"
The Sea King stared into Chiga's Rinnegan and shuddered. A distant memory—a terrible one—surfaced in its ancient mind.
"Who are you?! Why do you have the same eyes as that person?!"
It spoke in its Sea King tongue, incomprehensible to Chiga.
He simply watched as the beast stammered in fear, ignoring its babble. He understood enough—the Sea Kings had mistaken him for someone else… again.
He was done entertaining vague prophecies.
Whether "King" or not, he had Rinnegan. He was a god.
And today, these so-called guardians would learn what it meant to provoke one.
Susano'o raised both arms. The energy blades shimmered with intense light, vaporizing seawater around them. The heat and pressure warped the space nearby.
The bird-headed Sea King's pupils contracted. It turned to flee—
Too late.
Susanoo swung both swords in a cross-pattern slash, unleashing a massive X-shaped beam of dark purple energy.
Pfffsssh!!
"AAOOO!!"
The bird-headed Sea King howled in pain. A huge section of its tail was severed, blood gushing into the sea. The tail plummeted down—straight toward Fish-Man Island.
On the island, citizens screamed.
If that mass of flesh struck the island, it would cause catastrophic damage.
From the plaza, Jinbe reacted instantly. With a powerful leap, he launched himself into the sky and into the ocean.
Clenching his fist, he assumed his stance.
"If Lord Chiga's occupied, then it falls to me! Fish-Man Karate... Goshikigawara Seiken!—"
But just as he was about to strike, the severed tail vanished.
Gone. Instantly.
Jinbe froze mid-technique.
The sudden loss of his target caused a painful internal backlash. Blood sprayed from his mouth as he tumbled briefly in the water.
"What… just happened?"
As he clutched his chest, confused, a calm voice entered his mind.
"Jinbe, I moved the tail elsewhere. No need to interfere. Go back—I'll handle the rest."
It was Chiga's voice.
Jinbe breathed in sharply.
"As expected of Admiral Purple Kirin! I'll return immediately!"
He turned and swam back to the island.
When he arrived at the plaza, Neptune approached and clapped him on the shoulder.
"Jinbe! That tail disappeared because of your strike? Impressive!"
Jinbe's cheeks flushed red. He quickly waved it off.
"No, Your Majesty! That wasn't me—it was Lord Chiga's ability. This old man couldn't manage something like that!"
