The scene shifted, and Chiga had arrived at Zephyr's office door, raising his hand to knock.
"Knock, knock, knock."
"Come in."
Zephyr's tone was normal, without a hint of anger.
Chiga slowly walked in, gave a simple military salute, then found a sofa and plopped down, waiting grandly for Zephyr to speak.
After two months, under Zephyr's special care, Chiga had become very familiar with him. Although Chiga's behavior was a bit rude, he actually respected Zephyr very much, and Zephyr also deeply loved his disciple.
Zephyr rolled his eyes at him, a hint of amusement in his heart. This Chiga, it was as if he wasn't the one who had just gotten into a big fight in the cafeteria.
Putting down the work he was busy with, Zephyr rubbed his temples, looked up at Chiga, and asked casually,
"Did you gain anything from your fight with Smoker today?"
If other students saw Zephyr's demeanor, their jaws would surely drop. Who would have thought that the usually strict and rigid Teacher Zephyr could be so easygoing?
And Uchiha Chiga had been fighting in public! He was even unilaterally beating someone up! It was fine that you weren't punishing him severely, but were you asking him how it felt?
One could only say, the favored are fearless!
Chiga put on a thoughtful expression, pondered for a while, and said,
"The biggest feeling is that the elementalization of Logia users is indeed a bit troublesome to deal with."
Zephyr nodded, a smile appearing on his face. This was why he had called Chigara over.
He was going to give Chigara private lessons!
The Navy training camp's curriculum was progressive. Although two months had passed, many students still couldn't skillfully master even one of the Six Powers.
The teaching of Haki usually had to wait until the end of the second academic year.
Zephyr often took time to check Chiga's learning of the Six Powers and knew that Chiga had already mastered them very proficiently, even more so than some Six Powers users who had graduated years ago and become general-ranked officers.
Having him follow the normal curriculum like ordinary students was clearly a waste of Chiga's time, and even a waste of the entire Navy's time!
So Zephyr felt that his actions of giving private lessons were perfectly justified and the most correct choice. Simply put, it was for justice!
…
"Very good. Do you know what the most effective way to deal with Logia users is?" Zephyr set the stage slightly.
"Hmm, I know. It's Armament Haki, right? Smoker mentioned it himself during the fight," Chiga directly gave the correct answer.
"Uh, hmm, very good. The reason I called you here today is to teach you the method of cultivating Haki!"
Seeing that Chiga already knew about Armament Haki, Zephyr stopped beating around the bush and went straight to the point.
"Follow me to the wasteland behind. I'll demonstrate Haki for you," Zephyr said, then stood up and called Chiga to leave.
Upon reaching a large stretch of wasteland behind the training camp, Zephyr found a slightly open spot, then dramatically flicked off his Justice coat.
Whoosh! The Justice coat fluttered in the wind and landed on a protruding boulder.
So flamboyant! Chiga covertly pouted, but inwardly, he felt envious.
Whether it was the Fourth Hokage wearing the Hokage robe in Naruto or the Marine Admirals flicking their Justice coats in One Piece, both could only be described with one word: cool (flamboyant)!
"When I graduate, I'll definitely get one to play around with!"
Alright, Chiga was actually jealous, but he wouldn't admit it.
Zephyr, on the other side, didn't know he was being scorned by Chiga. At this moment, he tugged at his collar and extended a fist towards Chigara.
"Watch closely. Haki is divided into three types. What I'm about to use is Armament Haki!"
With that, Zephyr's fist was covered in a layer of black, and he slammed it hard onto the ground.
With a loud bang, centered around Zephyr, as far as the eye could see, the ground cracked inch by inch, the fissures extending all the way to the distant coast.
Chiga looked at the destruction Zephyr caused and couldn't help but gasp. The power felt more than twice as strong as Tsunade's Monster Strength.
"This is Armament Haki. It's an innate power that everyone possesses. It can be used for offense and defense, and most importantly, it can be used to attack the physical body of Logia users!"
Putting away his fist, Zephyr explained the essence and function of Armament Haki to Chiga.
Next, Zephyr told Chiga to attack him, as he wanted to demonstrate Observation Haki.
Chiga immediately flashed forward, continuously using Rokushiki to attack. Zephyr moved nimbly, and all of Chiga's attacks missed. Zephyr could even predict his movements and make simple counterattacks.
"This is Observation Haki. It can perceive the enemy's position and predict their movements. When cultivated to the extreme, it can even predict the future!"
Zephyr signaled Chiga to stop, then spoke about the last type of Haki: Conqueror's Haki.
"The last type is Conqueror's Haki. I cannot teach you this. This Haki is different from the other two; it is a special Haki that only those with the specific qualities of a king can possess."
Speaking of Conqueror's Haki, Zephyr felt a bit regretful. Even now, he hadn't awakened Conqueror's Haki, and it seemed he wouldn't awaken it in this lifetime.
Chiga, however, felt that Zephyr not having Conqueror's Haki might be related to his "non-lethal" justice. "Non-lethal" was too benevolent, far removed from "domination."
As for whether he would awaken Conqueror's Haki in the future, Chiga wasn't too concerned. First, he didn't believe he could be knocked out by Conqueror's Haki. If he really was, he'd just have to figure out how to pack up and go back to the East Blue to plant orange trees.
Even if Conqueror's Haki could later be imbued to strengthen attacks, and even became the meta, his Rinnegan was a bug outside of the meta.
His Rinnegan was not yet fully developed, but it already had many powerful offensive capabilities, and he didn't lack this so-called Conqueror's Haki coating. Once his Rinnegan fully evolved, and finally entered Six Paths Mode, a Truth-Seeking Ball would cure all sorts of flashy nonsense.
After demonstrating the two types of Haki, Zephyr also taught Chiga the specific cultivation methods, admonishing him not to rush and harm his body, then picked up his coat and left elegantly.
"Teacher Zephyr, the back of your coat is so dirty!" Chiga shouted at Zephyr, who had already walked some distance.
Zephyr stumbled, glared back at Chiga, patted his clothes, and instantly disappeared.
"Hahaha! You're so old, yet you still show off! Are you bullying me because I don't have a coat to flick around?"
Chiga felt refreshed and couldn't help but laugh up at the sky.
After laughing, Chiga recalled Zephyr's teachings and favoritism over the past few months, feeling touched. He looked in the direction Zephyr had left, his eyes slightly narrowed.
"Don't worry, Teacher Zephyr, I won't let certain things happen in this world again".
