The day started like any other I was going to visit my partner for our weekend together.
When I finally got to his house I was nervous because I wanted to show him the poetry I had made him.
I finally got the courage to show him and the current poem was " My heart beats for you my kind fox may the sun always shine and may the breeze always find you in your trying times and may you always feel my eyes and heart focused on you as my love for you keeps growing" .
After he got done teasing me for being cute I was able to convince him we should go get something to eat.
On our way to the store we stopped by a thrift shop because he knew I loved finding good sweaters there.
We were at an intersection when his car was hit by a suv and I died. I know kind of boring but I had very weak bone density at the time.
When I next opened my eyes if you can call them that I was in a dark space it felt comfortable, warm, and all together welcoming.
"Hello ninó" said the man who seemed too thin almost frail, I turned worried and asked " Where am I? Where is my boyfriend?" .
I was scared and confused on where or when I was but the best option was to try to stay calm even though I was slightly shaky. " I can see you have many questions please sit with me." Said the man
I finally did sitting on what appeared to be a bohemian style couch oddly comforting in the moment as I looked around the barely lit room that smelled of herbs and incense.
" My name is Robby I can see your confused so how about I explain?" said the man now known as robby. I followed by saying " Good to know your name but where am I?"
Robby said " You are in the beyond little ninó you have passed on and need to keep going to the next adventure" I said " What do you mean the beyond?"
Robby says " You have died in your old world now it's time for the next one but it comes at a cost." I say " How did I die? What happened to mxxxx? Is he still alive?" Robby says " He is no longer alive a few weeks after you died he had takotsubo cardiomyopathy or as you may know it a broken heart and died from it."
I started crying because I always wanted him to live even when I died but now we would meet in our next life like we promised.
I say " Will he come here after dying?" Robby said " He won't come through me like you did but you can still meet in the next life but I can't tell you where he will go."
I rapidly say " I don't care where as long as I see him. Please let me go to him."
Robby says " Ok but in exchange you only get one wish as your karma's gift so you two can stay together in your next life."
I agree " I am more than willing and I know my wish all I ask is for time to learn with a single gift"
Robby asks " what is your wish mxxxx?"
I respond " my wish is to be reborn as an immortal child of athena during the war with the titans as a half child with a nature sport through friendship."
" That is a very strange wish any particular reason for that?" Asks robby. I respond " yes it's so that no matter where we go I can have the time and strength to protect him and myself in our next lives."
Robby seemingly happy says "It's always good to see young love ninó in your next life you will be granted swift movement a almost cartoonish physique and a timer for when the will be reborn as you will be."
I respond with " I think I'm ready thank your for everything robby and thank you for helping me find my loved one."
I hug Robby before heading through a glowing door.
As I left robby smiles a heart warming smile and slowly changed his short hair growing out into soft curls and slowly Aphrodite appeared smiling and practically glowing with pride.
" I hope you take care of this one sister they have earned this new life" says Aphrodite as she says slowly dissolved into rose petals.
