Mjolnir transformed into a dazzling ball of azure light and fell to the ground. The ball of light continuously emitted streaks of azure electricity. The hair-thin bolts of lightning pitted the ground, and the lightning-like ball of light slowly morphed, elongating into a human silhouette.
Lucian's Secret transformed into a dazzling ball of blood-red light and fell to the ground. The ball of light was surrounded by blood-red flames. Wisps of fire scorched the concrete ground, turning it pitch-black like charcoal and causing it to crack rapidly. The enchanting, blood-red ball of light elongated, forming a human silhouette taller than the azure one.
"Not good! The Bronya detects two massive Honkai energy sources continuously rising and about to breach the critical threshold!" Bronya Zaychik said, a hint of panic in her voice. The miniature computer inside her body was constantly blaring danger alerts.
We're screwed. Kiana stared blankly at the scene before her, unable to process it. If she had known something this crazy would happen, she wouldn't have done it for anything in the world.
"What on earth is this?" Li Xuan murmured, still holding the Stone of Stellar Resonance, voicing the question on everyone's mind. His eyes were fixed on the balls of light before him, but he felt relatively calm. After all, he was a man who had witnessed the golden light multiple times. Besides, the Stone of Stellar Resonance was something he had wished for from the Gate of Vows; it couldn't be too dangerous.
Raiden Mei bit her lip, her right hand tightly gripping her katana as she assumed a defensive stance. Bronya Zaychik's Project Bunny 19C also raised its enormous, incredibly hard shield, guarding Bronya Zaychik's side.
The azure ball of light and the blood-red ball of light suddenly erupted with two beams of light, one azure and one blood-red. The azure beam dyed half the clouds in the sky azure, while the blood-red beam dyed the other half blood-red.
The azure ball of light was the first to shed its dazzling glow. The light receded rapidly from the head of the girl-like silhouette, revealing her true form. She was a petite girl, or rather, a loli. Her delicate, fair face carried a heroic air. A head of long, cerulean hair was tied into two ponytails, the smooth locks draping down to her waist. Her chest was, unfortunately, also loli-like—as flat as a field.
The girl wore a blue and white dress that looked like something from the Middle Ages, cinched at the waist with a thin cord. Her limbs were slender, yet she wore a pair of iron gauntlets. In her right hand, she held a giant hammer with an azure head and a blue-gray handle. Bright arcs of lightning still crackled around the massive hammer, making it hard to imagine how a girl of her size could lift it.
She slowly opened her eyes. Her azure irises were like the purest blue crystals. She pursed her lips slightly and looked around at this Honkai-infested world with curiosity. Her body floated in the air, the massive hammer reflecting the white light of the sun, making her look like a deity.
At the same time the blue-haired girl opened her eyes, the blood-red ball of light, as if not to be outdone, rapidly shed its dazzling crimson glow. The light receded, revealing a tall girl, or rather, a mature woman. Her enchanting beauty was no less than the loli's. Her long, smooth black hair was left to flow freely down to her waist.
The woman wore a white shirt, a black trench coat, and gray-brown hot pants. Blood-red, over-the-knee socks couldn't hide her slender, long legs, a testament to the fact that they were "legs for days." She wore a black western-style hat, from both ends of which two blood-red flames bizarrely burned like demon horns.
She slowly opened her eyes. Her crimson irises were like red agate. Her body floated in the air, and enchanting blood-red flames coiled around her snow-white gloved hands, making her look like a sorceress.
"A strange world," the blue-haired girl murmured, swinging the heavy hammer in her hand as if to relax, arcs of lightning coiling around her like a thunder god.
"Where is the resting place of my clan, the Night Capital?" the red-eyed, black-haired woman asked, a hint of confusion in her voice.
"So you demons are everywhere, just like rats in the sewer, disgusting," the blue-haired girl said with a frown, turning to notice the black-haired woman's aura.
"…You lapdog of the gods have no right to talk," the black-haired woman said dismissively, the blood-red flames coiling around her hands, showing no fear of offending her.
"..." The two fell silent, staring at each other, their gazes clashing like sparks.
"Hmph! I don't want to stoop to your level, you mere vampire," the blue-haired girl said, displaying a textbook tsundere attitude. She crossed her arms, turned her head away, and stopped looking at her opponent, her two blue ponytails swaying in the air.
"Were you the one who used this to summon us?" the blue-haired girl asked, her gaze falling upon the stunned group. Her eyes passed over her original owner, Kiana Kaslana, and landed on the stone in Li Xuan's hands—the Stone of Stellar Resonance.
Under the sunlight, the surface of the Stone of Stellar Resonance emitted a faint glow.
