The night was a cloak of shadows as Selene, Calder, Lina, Rafe, and Marrow prepared outside Harrow's central command facility. The imposing steel walls and razor wire seemed impenetrable, but the secrets inside were worth the risk.
Selene's heart pounded. "This is it. We get the data, expose the Orchid Program, and dismantle Harrow from the inside."
Calder checked his gear. "We move fast and stay quiet. No mistakes."
Lina's fingers trembled as she accessed the facility's blueprints on her tablet. "There's a security blind spot near the east entrance. We get in there."
Marrow nodded. "I'll cover the perimeter."
The team slipped through shadows, each step measured and silent. Inside, fluorescent lights flickered overhead, casting cold glows on sterile hallways.
Selene led the way to the central server room, bypassing encrypted locks with Lina's help.
Suddenly, an alarm beeped—a security sensor triggered.
Calder whispered urgently, "They know we're here. Move!"
The room flooded with red emergency lights. Selene gritted her teeth as she grabbed the data core.
"Download complete," Lina announced.
Footsteps thundered down the hall.
Marrow intercepted, firing suppressive shots while Selene and Lina made a break for the exit.
Outside, the team regrouped, breathless but victorious.
Selene held the data core tightly. "This is the end of Harrow's reign."
But a faint chill ran down her spine—a warning that the fight was far from over.
