Noah's p.o.v
His talk with Jayden was severely unproductive. He wants to get to know Alex, but she keeps running which is quite annoying. His objectively attractive, intelligent, rich, amazing personality and is impeccable in bed. What more does she want? Sure, his ego might be bruised because his never suffered rejection before and it kills him that his fated mate is the first.
"Alex. Common I have been here for an hour thirty minutes and thirty-five, six, seven, eight-"
"Just shut up. Just go to your room. I do not have time for this."
The woman spat but still did not open the door, so he continues knocking looking for an alternative way in. When he found none, he wondered what happened to change Alex mind about giving him a shot. The last person he spoke to in front of her was Air and that regarding the print photo-shoot to advertise the upcoming competition.
"Alex, if you mad because Air. She is just-"
And just as he started the door swung wide open and wow, she looks gorgeous. He is indifferent whether or not a woman wears make up or not, but her natural beauty is striking. She sucks in a before she tries to shut the door in his face, but he held the door... he will have a conversation with her today.
"I don't like you, in fact my contempt for you grows the longer you force yourself into my life."
Her eyes flashed a deep amber before she grits her teeth, her eyes went back to their unique colour. He wants to get lost in those almost black or the silver ocean depths. He knows she's a wolf shifter but there is something in those red eyes that suggest that she might be a hybrid. Alex has a strong exterior which means she has to be protecting something behind those walls, he has to get her wolf on his side.
"The interaction earlier was a misunderstanding-"
"Noah. Just stop talking. I do not care what you do, we do not know each other well enough for me to care what you do at your free time, actually last time I checked we do not know each other, period."
Everything sounds final when it comes out of her mouth, but they will talk today.
"Alex that is why I want to get to know you. Air is just-"
"You don't owe me any explanation. I sent my applications to transfer out of Moon University."
Time froze. That's the most dramatic way to reject someone, especially your mate. She looks serious. Jayden should have helped him to approach the situation, what should he do to not scare her away? He raises his hands in surrender and takes a step back.
"Please give me two minutes to have a conversation with you."
She takes a second to think before she steps back, he slowly steps forward and slowly closes the door.
"You are my fated mate; I am not saying that to mean more than the fact I want to get to know you better."
"Are you done?" he shakes his head but before he can continue, she interrupted. "I hate cheaters and liars. I hope you didn't come here to waste my time?"
"I may be a player, but I can swear to you I have never been a cheater. I have the best intentions right now,"
"Now."
"Can you stop interrupting me and listen. Look, I will not stand here and pretend that I'm holier than thou. I might have a questionable past, but they all knew what they are going into-"
"What am I getting into?"
"Us. I want us to get to know each other, I will not cross any boundaries. Please?"
Silence rooted the woman, visibly she expressed nothing, but her eyes told him there is something deeper... her eyes are a safer shade of blue, and she nods before the usual colour replace the sliver of hope. He clears his throat and pulls out a folded paper he had in his pocket; her eyes follow his every move.
"I found this drawing in the bin. You made me look unreal and insanely handsome; it's no wonder I spent weeks stalking the Arts faculty."
He admires her artistic talent, the way she captured him. Is this how she sees him? There's a white light behind him, does that have significance? It looks like she uses royal blue colours, but the grey sweeps beg to differ. Her eyes fall on the piece he admired, like the other pieces in her black book in his possession.
"Arts?"
Emotion. She's looking at him with confusion, or does she have something she's holding back. Suddenly her red eyes pierced the page with pure hatred.
"It's beautiful, you are talented. I don't know much about art but being my mother's model when she wants to insert herself in my personal life. She paints, but I know she will fall in love with your drawings."
He mused out loud. His mother and Alex are both doctors in different fields. They have this eye for creativity and creation that makes him smile.
"Noah." She whispers and he looks at her; she's not pushing him away. "It's getting late you should probably go back to your hotel room."
Damn. He thought too soon. He scratched the back of his head and laughed awkwardly; he didn't think that far.

Alex's p.o.v
She's stunned. He is focused on her drawing like he has never seen anything so captivating before. Then he brought up his mother, what is ging on here? He speaks as if he sees a future with her. She broke rule number one, she caught an alphas attention. No matter what story has been told, omegas are forced to accept their role. She was born an omega weak, sensitive and ignorant in the hierarchies of the pack until she escaped their devilish clutches...
"Jayden and Leo are squabbling over something that happened earlier today, so I-"
"So, you trying to tell me that Lucas and Toby are sharing a room. Jayden and Leo are in one." These men are not as smart as they are playing this game, "now you here."
Lucas and Toby are obviously fated to be mates. Jayden and Leo could potentially be fated mates. Which leave Noah and her...
"Get out." She says suddenly her evidence makes sense; Noah looks guilty and she figured out the reason Lucas brought them there. that bastard wanted to pimp them out. "Before you protest, you said that you will be respecting my boundaries."
Lucas really planned all this just to get a room with Toby. How did he know that she would move to Jayden's room? Jayden probably agreed because she mentioned that she's sharing a room with Leo, that means she also pimped her best friend out. Okay, she will get Leo to move in with her and call Toby just in case he has also been misled. What are the odds that they would all find their fated mates in the same year?
