On her way to the bus station Aria bumped into her best friend Joan and greeted her with enthusiasm while hugging her "hi Joan, how are you doing" Joan hugged her back and replied "am good how about you" and Aria said "am good".
Joan looked at Aria from head to toe with surprise and said "where are you going this early dressed like this" Aria laughed lightly and said while apologizing"am sorry I didn't tell you but I have an interview today at Xavier's conglomerate " jaon gasped and covered her mouth with her hands in surprised and said while stammering"a...are you su.. sure" Aria nodded happily and said "yes" still surprised Joan said "are you sure that it's Xavier's conglomerate, cause it's hard to have and opportunity for and interview there and you're going there" Aria laughed and said "I know it's a bit shocking because I was also surprised when I was appointed for an interview" she said enthusiasmly and Joan said "I'm so happy for you girl, you're really lucky. Here I am still working at the cafe trying to earn even though the pay is not much and the boss is not good to us his workers" Aria sighed and said "it going to be fine Joan, if I get my job in Xavier's conglomerate I'll look for a space for you to work so that we can both work together okay." Joan gasped and said "really "
And she replied while nodding at Joan "yes" with joy Joan jumped and hugged her saying"thank you so much Aria, you're the best friend I've ever had" Aria laughed and replied her "I know, I need to go so I that I can catch up with the bus station okay" and Joan said"okay"
Aria walked two step away and turned back and told Joan "once I get back I'll come over to your place and spend some time" she said and Joan replied her with an "okay" and Aria walked away to the bus station leaving Joan standing in the spot she wan looking at Aria while her back disappear.
Since from childhood Aria and Joan have been best of friends that people sometimes call them sister's cause of their close relationship. They knew each other through the relationship of both their mother's and both their father's were dead leave both girls with each of their mother. They grew up together and went to the same college and even work in the same cafe.
Joan finally left her spot and went back home, reaching home she saw her mom doing the laundry and walked over to her and told her what happened earlier " mom do you know that Aria got an appointment in the Xavier's conglomerate" she said and her mom sighed tiredly and replied her "Joan I don't have time for your not useful talk right now" still Joan said " am not lieing mom I saw her leaving and she told me that's she's going to the Xavier's conglomerate " and her mom turned to her and said " and you believed her, don't you know that getting and appointment in Xavier's conglomerate is close to impossible " her mom said and Joan looked at her seriously saying" I saw her and she told me and it also doesn't look like she's lieing to me cuz Aria never lies to me" seeing the serious look on Joan's face her mom stopped arguing and said "okay " with that Joan said to her mom " mom I'll go freshen up and go to work " and her mom replied her " okay" with that Joan was leaving when her mom glanced at her and said out loud for her hearing "when you're done go to the kitchen and get your food it's there " Joan heard her and replied her loudly too "okay mom.thanks"
Going to her room and freshing up Joan came out and got dressed and applied a light make up on her face an left her room for the kitchen. Getting her food from the kitchen she ate and washed the dishes and was about leaving when she passed by her mom and said "mom am leaving, I'll be back when am done at the cafe" and her mom replied her saying "okay, be careful out there". leaving the house Joan went to the cafe for her work
