Chapter 2 - P2: Introduction to Flower Language

Introduction to the language of flowers

Flower language is the powerful meaning of each species of flower.

Imagine if a flower could talk, flower language is what that flower would say.

For example, a red rose represents passionate love.

But a yellow rose represents friendship.

All flowers have different meanings so in each flower language section of this book, we will go into more complicated meanings.

Let's start off with the Eprelda

For those who are unfamiliar with this plant, here is a quick description.

The Eprelda is a common flower found in the nation of Zephyr Loft.

The flower comes in two colors, pink and orange, each color has a different meaning, despite them both being the same species.

Fun fact: their seeds are actually star shaped and they make a great snack.

The Eprelda's meaning

Pink Eprelda's represent unconditional love.

Orange Eprelda's represents loneliness and longing.

A bouquet using both colors of the Eprelda represents a longing for somebody you miss.

Perhaps a family member who was sent off to war, or your love who lives across the Sea.

The next flower is the Sloon

The Sloon is a flower with a long stem with a fuzzy purple flower at the tip.

The flower is most commonly found in Zephyr Loft.

The Sloon's Purple flower when touched releases a slight poison that makes any body part that touched it instantly fall asleep.

This effect can last for up to an hour.

The Sloon's Meaning

The flower represents boredom, indifference, or annoyance.

But if the bulb is cut off, that represents cutting ties with somebody.

Warning

Do not put this flower in a bouquet, unless you have cut off the bulb.

The poison is known to wither other flowers.
