Chapter 491: The Arrival of the Lord of Thunder!

"Clang!"

A silver space broadsword slashed down upon the Demon Emperor Armor encasing the body of the Seventh King's Hall, producing a crisp metallic clang.

"Crack!"

However, after a moment of resistance, a fissure appeared on the surface of the Demon Emperor Armor. Violent spatial energy tore through the crack, ripping at the body of the Seventh King's Hall.

"This is... the Ancestral Symbol of Space?"

The previously confident Seventh King's Hall couldn't help but change expression. A surge of black mist instantly erupted around him, enveloping his figure.

When the black mist dispersed, he had already retreated several thousand meters away.

Gazing down at the crack torn open on his chest by the spatial broadsword, the Seventh King's Hall's expression turned extremely grim. Evidently, having his Demon Emperor Armor broken through by Lin Fan had made him seethe with rage. This armor had been a gift from their Emperor, and such damage was almost a form of humiliation!

At this moment, facing Lin Fan, the Seventh King's Hall felt no sense of superiority. Instead, his heart was filled with deep apprehension.

"To think you could actually injure me... impressive," he said darkly, eyes fixed on Lin Fan. "But that just means I can't let you live!"

As his words fell, the Seventh King's Hall took a sudden step forward. His figure seemed to teleport, appearing right before Lin Fan. With a turn of his demonic palm, he launched a ferocious strike.

Lin Fan, however, remained calm. Boundless Yuan Power surged within his body as he raised his hand. A purple-gold palm imprint condensed in the air, carrying a world-shaking force as it collided with the Seventh King's demonic palm.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Above the sky, the two clashed fiercely, sending out deafening shockwaves.

Though the Demon Emperor Armor on the Seventh King's Hall was incredibly powerful, Lin Fan wielded the might of the Primeval Ancestral Symbol. In their head-on clash, not only was he unscathed, he was even starting to gain the upper hand.

"Boom!"

After another collision, both were forced hundreds of meters back by the impact.

At that moment, one of Lin Fan's clones silently appeared at the location where the Seventh King had retreated. With nimble fingers, he launched a barrage of dazzling silver light blades that enveloped the Seventh King's Hall.

These dazzling spatial blades carried deadly intent.

"Shiiing!"

Countless spatial blades struck the surface of the Demon Emperor Armor, producing ear-piercing screeches.

Gradually, fine cracks began appearing across the armor—and those cracks were spreading.

"Damn it!"

The Seventh King's Hall cursed under his breath, his eyes dark and malicious. With a wave of his hand, a massive tide of demonic energy surged forth, engulfing his figure completely.

His presence melded into the vast sea of demonic energy, making it impossible to pinpoint his location.

It was clear that after suffering two setbacks, the Seventh King's Hall no longer dared to use his body as a target. He no longer had absolute confidence in the Demon Emperor Armor.

"Boom!"

Just then, an ear-splitting thunderclap suddenly echoed across the heavens.

Lin Fan turned his gaze toward the source, and saw that in the distance, the dark sky suddenly became brilliant. A world of lightning surged forward at astonishing speed.

Within that sea of thunder, a tall and burly figure strode forward, stepping atop bolts of lightning. A terrifying, indescribable pressure spread across heaven and earth.

In the demon sea, the face of the Seventh King's Hall turned grim with horror the moment he saw that lightning-walking figure. He couldn't help but cry out in shock.

"Lord of Thunder!"

At the same time, from the direction of the Dark City, streaks of light appeared. In the blink of an eye, a petite figure, followed by two others, darted over and landed beside Lin Fan. It was none other than Qing Tan, accompanied by two Supreme Elders from the Hall of Darkness.

"Brother Lin Fan, are you alright?" Qing Tan asked with concern.

"I'm fine," Lin Fan shook his head and kept his eyes on the figure approaching from afar, wrapped in radiance.

Qing Tan and the two Supreme Elders also turned their attention to the thunder-walking man.

They had all heard the Seventh King's cry.

"Lord of Thunder." These two simple words caused their hearts to tremble.

Under everyone's watchful gaze, the burly figure emerged from the sea of lightning. With a leap, he instantly covered ten thousand feet.

His speed was astonishing. When the thunderclap echoed, he was still at the horizon. But by the time the sound faded, lightning converged in the sky above—and he appeared before everyone's eyes.

He was tall and powerfully built, looking like a man in his thirties. With short silver hair and rugged features, he had a pair of thunderous eyes beneath thick brows. Those eyes radiated a mixture of coldness and fury.

On his bare arms was a thunder totem, exuding an ancient, violent energy that subtly rippled through the air, causing the heavens themselves to tremble slightly.

"Rumble!"

Thunder grew even denser. The Lord of Thunder's silver eyes locked onto the Seventh King's Hall, releasing an indescribable pressure that spread outward.

"I've been scouring the world for you. Who knew... you'd actually dare show yourselves."

His gaze pierced the Seventh King's Hall, and his deep voice rumbled like thunder across the sky.

"Lord of Thunder, you're really like a lingering ghost!" the Seventh King's Hall growled through gritted teeth, his expression dark.

At this point, his heart had already sunk. He had battled Lin Fan for so long without gaining the upper hand, and now this troublesome Lord of Thunder had shown up. Killing Lin Fan was no longer possible.

Worse, with the Lord of Thunder and Lin Fan joining forces, he might very well lose his life if he wasn't careful.

"Since I've found you, you might as well tell me—where are the rest of your lot hiding?" the Lord of Thunder asked coldly.

"Tch, you're still as boastful as ever," the Seventh King's Hall sneered. "You think you alone can stand against my Demon Prison? If that were the case, would your people have been forced into deep slumber all those years ago?"

"At the very least, you're still not qualified to speak to me like that," the Lord of Thunder said indifferently.

As his voice fell, space behind the Seventh King's Hall tore open, and the Lord of Thunder's figure flickered into view like a ghost. His fingers clenched into a fist, lightning crackling wildly along his arm, and with a single punch, he smashed into the Seventh King's back.

"Boom!"

Thunder exploded. The Seventh King's Hall was blasted into a beam of black light, crashing into a mountain and causing it to collapse entirely.

The Lord of Thunder pressed his fingers together and pointed into the air. A terrifying bolt of lightning shot forth, slamming into the mountain remains and instantly reducing the rubble to ash.

A figure within barely had time to react before being directly hit, coughing up black blood as he skidded across the ground, carving a trench tens of thousands of feet long.

The Seventh King's Hall struggled to rise from the ground, his gaze venomous and twisted as he glared at the Lord of Thunder. His Demon Emperor Armor was now heavily dented.

"All these years, and you're still relying on that tortoise shell of yours," the Lord of Thunder said, shaking his head.

"This Demon Emperor Armor is formidable, but if I really wanted to kill you, I doubt it could save you."

The Seventh King's Hall scowled, let out a cold snort, and suddenly formed a series of hand seals. Demonic energy surged like a tide as his body twisted, splitting into more than a dozen identical figures that scattered in all directions in a frantic escape.
