The sun pierced gently through the half-drawn curtains, casting long golden lines across the floor. Lily lay asleep, her face finally peaceful, her breathing soft and steady. Nyra, Veralia, and Reina sat close on the edge of the bed, watching over her with quiet relief. Caelen stood at the window, arms folded, eyes fixed on the horizon, while Ryan stood quietly by the door, alert but thoughtful.
Nyra broke the silence. "So… I guess that means the curse is broken."
Caelen didn't turn, still watching the village bathed in morning light. "It seems so. The fog has disappeared. And that light Lily released last night… It blanketed the sky like a sunrise. A final farewell to the curse."
Veralia crossed her arms. "Who would've thought Lily was the reincarnation of the very girl who cursed the village? And to think… she was the key to lifting it all along."
