Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 {I Rather Die}

Wu Dong's expression remained neutral as he scribbled down her response. He flipped to the next page, his pen poised to write.

"Very well. Can you tell me how you came to be in China, Miss Winslow?"

Arwen took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She recounted her trip, her excitement at exploring a new country, her meeting with Xiao Mang. As she spoke, she noticed Wu Dong's eyes widening slightly, a flicker of surprise crossing his face.

"And you have no memory of any interactions with our young master prior to your arrival?"

Arwen shook her head firmly.

"No. None at all. I've never met him before this... this nightmare."

Wu Dong paused, considering her words. He flipped back through his notebook, his brow furrowed in thought.

"Miss Winslow, I must ask you something else. Have you experienced any... unusual dreams or sensations since arriving in China?"

"Are you psychos! No no no!" Arwen snapped.

"What do you think of our young General?"

Arwen laughed bitterly and oh boy did she have some insults. She spoke her mind like there was no tomorrow.

"Please speak."

"Fine I will tell you what I think," Arwen said angrily.

Arwen's eyes blazed with fury as she launched into a tirade against Ye Shufen, her words dripping with venom.

"That man is a monster, a cruel and twisted individual who thinks he can take whatever he wants, do whatever he pleases, without consequence. He's a tyrant, a despot, a goddamn psychopath who gets off on hurting people, on controlling them."

She took a step closer to Wu Dong, her voice rising with each word.

"He's a narcissist, a sociopath, a megalomaniac. He's got a god complex, thinks he's above the law, above morality. He's a fucking demon, a demon in human skin."

The door slammed opened Ye Shufen eyes showed so much anger the nurses tried to calm him down and his assistant who is also his right hand man tried to calm him down.

"What did you say woman!?" Ye Shufen shouted at Arwen as he shook her.

"You heard it! You want me to say it again fine you are a psychopath, a demon in human skin!" Arwen shouted so angrily the next second Arwen was thrown on against the wall and her head hit the wall as her forehead started to bleed and she fainted. Ye Shufen rushed over to her and picked her up he felt extremely worried which was strange to her.

"Where the fuck are the nurses do I pay you for nothing!?" Ye Shufen shouted.

As Arwen lay unconscious in Ye Shufen's arms, the nurses scrambled to attend to her, their faces pale with fear. Ye Shufen's anger was a terrifying thing to behold, and they knew they would pay dearly if anything happened to the woman.

"Get a doctor, now!" Ye Shufen barked, his voice shaking with a mix of rage and concern. He gently laid Arwen down on the hospital bed, his fingers brushing softly against her bruised forehead.

Wu Dong watched the scene unfold with a mixture of shock and fascination. He had never seen his boss react this way before, especially not over a woman. There was something about Arwen Winslow that seemed to stir something deep within Ye Shufen, something primal and possessive.

As the doctors rushed in, Ye Shufen stepped back, his eyes never leaving Arwen's unconscious form. He watched as they cleaned the wound, checked her vitals, and hooked her up to various machines.

"Will she be okay?" Ye Shufen asked, his voice surprisingly gentle. The doctor nodded, assuring him that she would make a full recovery. Ye Shufen let out a sigh of relief, his shoulders sagging slightly.

"Good."

When Arwen woke she was not in the hospital but a beautiful luxury room it looked like a princess a queen room. Arwen touched her forehead as she groaned this guy had the worst temper! Arwen then thought for long time and she saw a man who looks like fifty years old.

"Hello Lady Arwen I am the butler of this mansion the head housekeeper the young general told me about what happened."

"I never gave birth to his child."

"Lady Arwen can I give you advice," Zhang Ming said gently.

"What?"

"Try not to provoke him."

Arwen really wanted to jump out the window trying to not to provoke him!? This bastard was the one who bullied her first!

Arwen's eyes flashed with anger at Zhang Ming's advice, but she bit her tongue, knowing that lashing out would only make her situation worse. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself.

"Fine," she said through gritted teeth.

"I'll... try to keep my mouth shut around him."

Zhang Ming nodded, a hint of sympathy in his eyes.

"Thank you, Lady Arwen. The young general can be... difficult. But he means well, in his own way."

Arwen scoffed, but held her tongue. She didn't believe for a second that Ye Shufen's brutal actions were motivated by anything other than his own selfish desires.

"Is there anything I can get for you, Lady Arwen? Some food, perhaps? Or a change of clothes?"

Arwen shook her head, her stomach churning at the thought of eating.

"No, thank you. I'm not hungry."

She looked around the opulent room, taking in the luxurious furnishings and the massive fourposter bed.

"Where am I, exactly?"

"General Ye military base here has many but this is one of them they are both men and woman."

"Where is it?"

"Shanghai."

"Shanghai..?"

Arwen's eyes widened in shock at Zhang Ming's revelation. Shanghai the bustling metropolis on the coast of China, a city known for its vibrant culture, stunning skyline, and thriving economy. It was a far cry from the small, quiet town she had grown up in.

"How... how did I get here?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Zhang Ming hesitated, choosing his words carefully.

"The young general... he had you brought here after the incident at the hospital. He wanted to ensure your safety and comfort."

Arwen's mind raced, trying to process this new information. She was being held captive in a military base in Shanghai, at the mercy of a man who claimed she was the mother of his child a man who had already proven himself to be cruel and unpredictable.

"Why Shanghai?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

Zhang Ming shrugged apologetically.

"I'm afraid I don't know the specifics, Lady Arwen. The young general's decisions are not always easy to understand. But I can assure you that you will be well taken care of here."

Arwen nodded absently, her thoughts already drifting to her predicament and the long road ahead. The more she thought about everything the more she became angry.

Arwen did not get out of her room at all she was so angry she wanted to throw a tantrum but she crossed her legs together this bastard if she knew this would happen to her she would went to Paris!

Days turned into weeks, and Arwen remained locked in her luxurious prison, her anger and frustration growing with each passing moment. She refused to eat, to sleep, to do anything but stare out the window at the sprawling cityscape of Shanghai, wondering how she had ended up in this nightmare.

She fainted and there was an IV drop when she opened her eyes. Ye Shufen grabbed Arwen chin and he forced kissed her as he glared at her.

"Woman if you starve yourself again I will punish you!" Ye Shufen.

"Ye Shufen! Are you crazy! No no no you are sick in the head I am a doctor how about I check your brain!" Arwen snapped. Ye Shufen shoved Arwen on the bed she let out a scream as her clothes were ripped open and she felt frightened as she tried to push Ye Shufen he pushed himself inside Arwen who let out a scream pain.
