The orchestra played a lively waltz, and the ballroom glittered with movement and color but Lysara didn't feel like dancing, not tonight.

But for all her sharp-tongued charm, she was still a fly-on-the-wall when it came to socializing in a ball room so she simply lingered by the pillars, watching the nobility swirl past, her keen eyes picking up every whisper, every subtle shift in alliances hidden behind polite smiles.
