"Do you have any idea how worried we were?" Lorelie asked as she pounded her fists on Adam's chest.
He and Rowena had just returned to their hotel room, and the first thing he saw was a turquoise-haired rocket who rushed up and hugged him before she pulled away and started hitting him.
"Sorry," Adam replied as he began to gently stroke her hair.
"With all due respect, it wasn't really his fault," Rowena said from the side.
"Oh, don't worry, we plan to have words with you later, grandmother," Stacey said, since she had quickly arrived behind Lorelie.
"What did I do?" Rowena asked.
"Don't act like you don't know, bitch," Aphrodite remarked a bit further away, where she stood next to Eri.
"Jealous much?" Rowena replied while giving her signature smirk and making Aphrodite glare at her angrily.
"Adam!" Tephe said happily as she skipped up towards him.
"Tephe, you're awake," Adam remarked as he smiled at her.
"Yup," Tephe said happily and nodded.
"How are you feeling?" he asked as he studied her closely.
"I'm good, had a strange dream, but good," Tephe replied.
"Strange dream?" Adam asked curiously as Rowena listened in with interest.
"Don't worry about it, it was just a silly dream," Tephe said dismissively.
"Sure," Adam replied, and although he could tell the beautiful dragon-girl was hiding something, he decided not to press the subject since everyone had secrets and instead asked, "Did anything interesting happen while we were gone?"
"You mean more interesting than you two travelling in time?" Stacey asked while rolling her eyes.
"Fair point," Adam conceded.
"Diva Lorelie's Xer-verse post regarding the Universal Sporting Body's controversial decision on that Watersphere game is getting a lot of attention, especially since Oracle Andromeda herself liked the post," Eri remarked.
"I told you just to address me as Lorelie, we're friends after all," Lorelie said towards Eri.
"You already made that post?" Rowena asked curiously.
"I made it on the way back from Alpha Entertainment," Lorelie replied.
Returning in time to just before Adam and Rowena travelled to the past and while they were riding the hoverbike, Lorelie, Aphrodite and Eri were riding the hoverlimo back to Lorelie's suite.
"What's with the serious expression? You're staring at your unibands screen like it's done you wrong?" Aphrodite asked with a smirk.
"I'm contemplating how I want to word my Xer-verse post regarding the Universal Sporting Body's recent announcement," Lorelie replied without looking up.
"Just be honest with your opinion," Aphrodite replied simply.
"Huh?" Lorelie replied as she finally looked up in confusion, since she had always been taught that celebrities had to be careful about what they post on social media.
"You're still failing to grasp the power you currently wield as the universe's most popular celebrity," Aphrodite stated before continuing, "your current popularity in the universe is greater than anyone else, whether they are a celebrity, a ruler, or even Oracle Andromeda. While not everyone in the universe is going to be your fan, as that's impossible, it's safe to say that over ninety percent of the universe are and no organisation, including the universal senate, wants to deal with the shit storm that will come their way if they say something bad about you."
"Even Oracle Andromeda?" Lorelie asked in surprise.
"Oracle Andromeda is famous, but that doesn't mean she's popular. The leaders of each race tread lightly around her, not because they particularly like her, but because they fear she will stop informing them of any prophecies or visions, she had of them and their race," Aphrodite explained.
"I see," Lorelie replied.
"Even if you slander and condemn the Universal Sporting Body publicly in your post, the most they will dare to do is reply with a post full of fluff words that don't mean anything, if they even dare to post a reply at all after Oracle Andromeda likes your post as she has claimed she will," Aphrodite continued before adding with a smile, "so post your honest opinion on this whole ordeal and let's see if they dare to stick to their statement of not doing anything."
Lorelie nodded before looking at Eri and asking, "Do you agree with Aphrodite's assessment?"
"You want my opinion?" Eri asked in surprise.
"Of course. You're a social media influencer, so you're an expert on this," Lorelie replied.
"I wouldn't call myself an expert; also Diva Aphrodite has far more experience with social media than I do," Eri replied.
"Not really. While I have been using Xer-verse and other social media platforms far longer than either of you, I also don't post on them as often as other celebrities," Aphrodite replied.
"Well, if you're sure?" Eri replied before thinking for a few moments, then said, "I can't honestly give a definite opinion on if things will go the way Dive Aphrodite claims, since celebrities are usually very careful with what they post on social media. However, I do think she is correct in assuming that the Universal Sporting Body won't dare to get into an argument with you on Xer-verse.
You have far too many fans that number in the billions, and if they were fool enough to rile up that many citizens of the universe, the Universal Senate will get wind of it and may step in."
"If the Universal Senate steps in, then chances are that members of the Universal Sporting Body will start finding themselves out of work.
The Senators speak directly with each race's ruler and as stated previously, they won't want to get on Oracle Andromeda's shit list," Aphrodite replied with a smirk before adding, "honestly, having Oracle Andromeda back you up is such a cheat."
"Diva Lorelie and Oracle Andromeda are the worst pairing possible if they team up against you together," Eri said with a smile.
"Agreed, Lorelie here has the hearts of the masses, while Oracle Andromeda is feared by the leaders and those in a position of authority in each race," Aphrodite replied before adding, "though interestingly, she has never needed to make or carry out such a threat. I guess her predecessor left a clear image of what happens if you piss off the oracle."
"Hearts of the masses?" Lorelie said in surprise before saying with a beautiful smile, "There is only one person's heart I want."
"That's sweet and all," Aphrodite replied while rolling her eyes before adding, "But can we get back onto the topic of your Xer-verse post?"
"You're the one who changed the topic in the first place," Lorelie replied while rolling her eyes before she focused on her uniband's holographic screen and began to type out her post.
Xer-verse was its usual busy and chaotic self as countless new posts were being posted and upvoted every minute before being lost the next moment. However, as soon as Diva Lorelie posted a message on Xer-verse, it immediately attracted the attention of almost everyone who was currently trawling through Xer-verse at that moment, while a moderator quickly pinned it to the top of the front page.
[OfficialLorelie: Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well today. 👋
I am here to voice my opinion on the recent post that the Universal Sporting Body made regarding the suspicious substitution the Oceana Abes made against the Oasis Fangs.
First off, let me apologise that this post was a bit slow in coming out, but I was busy partaking in a photoshoot with Diva Rowena and Dive Aphrodite for Erkath Fahions' new clothing line, Earth Fashion, which I'm sure you have all heard about.
In response to the Universal Sporting Body's response to the Watersphere fans' outcry, I can't help but ask them, are you fucking serious?
That substitution the Oceana Abes made makes absolutely no sense. Murphy was playing the worst game he had played in ages and he should have been substituted off. Even Muriel, the most successful and G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) Watersphere player, has stated such.
I therefore call upon the Universal Sporting Body to reconsider its stance on this and conduct an investigation, or at the very least give us a clear reason as to why they won't conduct an investigation, other than it doesn't breach any rules.
And should they still claim that it's because it doesn't breach any rules, then I suggest that they should consider changing said rules or at least adding a new one.]
[... Oh shit! Dive Lorelie is going hard.]
[... KYYYAAAAAA, DIVA LORELIE I LOVE YOU.]
[... It's not surprising; she's a huge Oceana Abes fan after all.]
[... I remember that she was at the match in question, but ended up leaving early because of this.]
[... Rigghhhtttt, she was there with her boyfriend.]
[... Fucking lucky bastard.]
[... Agreed. I would give anything to date Diva Lorelie.]
[... Diva Lorelie was partaking in a photoshoot with Diva Rowena? That's huge news.]
[... You're right, I don't think Diva Lorelie has ever done a photoshoot for anything except her own merch in the past.]
[... You're forgetting that Diva Aphrodite was also part of the photoshoot.]
[... Oh please. There is no way they will use that slut's photos.]
[... Makes you wonder why she was even part of it.]
[... I did hear that she was hanging out with Diva Lorelie and Diva Rowena. Maybe they did it to placate her.]
[OfficialMuriel has liked this post.]
[OfficialMuriel: I completely agree with Diva Lorelie on this and also call for the Universal Sporting Body to reconsider their stance.]
[... Oh, fuck, even Muriel appeared.]
[... It's not surprising; she was very vocal about this after the whole incident took place.]
