"I was certainly surprised when you interrupted our conversation and informed us that we could actually watch his stream," Michael Ororis commented.
"How is his ship so advanced?" Emperor Daniel asked in surprise as he watched yet another medium-class ship get destroyed.
"I continue to be impressed with him and his ship every time I see or hear about them, and yet your son would ruin any chance we have to be allies with Adam," Victoria replied with disgust, making Daniel sag in his seat.

I REALLY FUCKING HATE THIS GUY!" Sinead Quintana yelled angrily as she watched Adam's stream via The MMM Show.
"SINEAD!" Sinead's boss yelled angrily.

"I've spent how long looking for him and trying to watch his stream, and here he is streaming live to who else but that bastard Malgath.
"I've never seen you get so worked up over a guy before, Sinead," Sinead's friend teased as she sat next to her.
"Can you blame me? I've never had this much trouble from one person, let alone a fucking streamer."
"Don't you have any friends acquainted with someone on his ship? Surely you haven't burned all your bridges from digging up everyone's dirt, right?"

"Stacey, switch target to the lead ship and start using the distortion repeaters and Tempest IV EMP Scatter Missiles to disable it. I will keep the other large-class ship busy." Adam instructed.
"Copy that," Stacey said as she activated the distortion repeaters, making them appear from hidden compartments on Spector's hull while another compartment opened on the underside of the hull to show a missile rack.
"Spector, what's the suggested number of missiles I should fire against a large-class ship?" Stacey asked.
"Based on the large-class ship's, available defensive weaponry and shield output, it is recommended that you fire three missiles," Spector replied as she altered course towards the lead ship that could be seen transforming slightly as a large section on the front opened up to reveal a large cannon.
"Target lock on and switch to attack pattern delta," Adam said as he locked onto the other large-class ship and had the micro-fighters alter course and head towards its underside while spreading out before opening fire.
"Firing tempest missiles," Stacey said as she pressed a button on her console three times while she also began firing the distortion repeaters.
The normal red energy bolts were now blue instead and seemed to spark with electricity, while the three tempest missiles shot out from the missile rack and streaked towards the lead enemy ship.

The lead enemy ship started to attempt evasive manoeuvres in an attempt to avoid the incoming fire from the distortion repeaters, while it started to deploy EM countermeasures.
Unfortunately, before the EM countermeasures could take effect, the front of the three missiles opened and eighteen smaller missiles shot out from each, making a total of fifty-four missiles now heading towards the lead enemy ship.

"Fifty-four missiles, am I seeing things?" Malgath asked in shock.
"If you are, then it's something we're all seeing," Kasumi replied.
The enemy lead ship suddenly activated its defensive ballistic weapons and fired off ballistic rounds towards the incoming missiles.

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): For offensive weapons, you're correct, energy weapons are generally more common. However, for defensive weapons, ballistic types still generally perform better because they can fire at a much higher rate and therefore cover a larger area.
They may cost more with having to replenish the ammo; however, you can't use your credits when you're dead.]
As Stacey attacked the lead enemy ship, the other large-class ship that Adam was targeting suddenly couldn't ignore the micro-fighters any longer since their weapons were quickly draining its shields, and so the ship's captain decided to turn and face his ship's attacker.
Unfortunately for the captain, this is what Adam wanted. As soon as the ship turned to face him, Adam suddenly said, "Target lock on and switch to attack pattern alpha."
As he did so, he had the target reticle locked onto the lead enemy ship as the micro-fighters reformed into their original triangular formation before flying straight past the large-class ship that had just turned to attack them and began to open fire to help drain the shields faster.
"Oh wow, he faked out the large-class ship and forced it to focus on him, only to ignore it the next second and attack the lead ship," Kasumi said in an impressed tone.
"But I thought he was supposed to be distracting the other large-class ship?" Malgath asked as he knew many of the viewers had this question in mind.
"He already did that, he managed to successfully distract the other ship, and now he plans to help drain the lead ship's shields so that Rowena's granddaughter can use the distortion repeaters to disable the ship before it can fire its main cannon," Kasumi explained.
"So much for leaving it till last," Rowena said with a chuckle.
"The lead ship charging its main cannon forced his hand; he had no choice," Lorelie replied as she continued to focus on the stream.
"Such impressive space combat tactics, I wonder where he learned them," Malgath asked curiously.

The enemy's lead ships' defensive ballistic weapons managed to take out most of the Tempest missiles; however, eight still managed to avoid being hit and impacted the shields.
The combined assault of the eight Tempest missiles, the distortion repeaters and the six micro-fighter laser repeaters bombarded the lead ship's shields and quickly drained them, causing them to collapse.
As soon as the shields collapsed, Adam said, "Target lock on and switch to attack pattern delta."
The target reticle switched back to the other large ship as the micro-fighters performed U-turn flips in space to alter course back where they came from, while separating again.
As Adam commanded the micro-fighters to do this, Stacey continued to fire the distortion repeaters at the lead enemy ship, causing the blue energy to impact the hull and start overloading the systems.

The blue energy they fire is concentrated electronic energy that gives the same effect as an EMP missile. The downside is that it affects a much more concentrated and therefore smaller area, and its effect is only temporary, unlike EMP missiles or bombs.
This is also why you need several shots from a distortion repeater to achieve the same effect as an EMP missile.]
Eventually, the lead large-class ship couldn't withstand the repeated hits from the distortion repeaters, and it shut down as the energy produced by the neutron reactor failed to transfer through the ship's energy conduits.
