Adam piloted Spector, making her perform evasive manoeuvres to avoid most of the incoming fire while also occasionally returning fire with the three triple laser repeaters on the front of the ship and two ballistic repeaters on the rear.
"Diva Lorelie's boyfriend is holding his own," Kasumi commented in an impressed tone as she gracefully repositioned herself on her seat to get more comfortable.
"Unfortunately, that's all he's managing to do," Malgath replied.
"Because of being outnumbered six to one, he's unable to focus on one specific target while having to evade the incoming attacks of the other five.
If he had a chance to focus fire on one of them, his weapons could probably do some serious damage." Malgath stated.
"I hope whatever he had planned is enough to shift the battle in his favour," Kasumi added as they all continued to watch the action along with the studio audience and those watching on the universal subspace network.
By now, word had spread like wildfire on Xer-verse and the Newscast channels that The MMM Show was somehow broadcasting live an actual space battle.
Individuals from different races all over the known universe tuned into The MMM Show to watch the space battle, causing the show's viewer count to skyrocket.
The MMM Show was already one of the most-watched shows in the known universe; however, the opportunity to watch a space battle live caused its ratings to hit an all-time high, and they just kept rising.
Even though space battles were an extremely regular occurrence in the known universe, with several happening every second, most of them were not heard about until the battle was over, and hardly any were ever shown live.
Only when a film crew was present on a ship that was entering combat was this the exception, but that only happened during large-scale wars where large-scale battles were already anticipated.
An impromptu ambush, like what was being shown live right now, was something very rarely, if ever, shown.
While streamers had attempted to replicate an impromptu battle for their streams, that in the end was all it was, replicated. It was faked so that the streamer's life wouldn't be in danger, and once most people figured that out, they left behind only the streamer's fans or those who wanted to roast the streamer for being fake.

"I'm here." Stacey suddenly said as she reached the bridge, attracting the attention of everyone watching the stream and causing them to focus on it again.
"Great," Adam said as he shot her a smile before continuing, "Take over weapons control while I have Spector pilot herself."
"What are you going to do?" Stacey asked curiously as she sat down and activated the same console she had used before.
"Spector, prepare the Spector Unit Four Micro-fighters," Adam said.

"I wonder what these micro-fighters could be? And if they're remote-controlled, how is it possible for Diva Lorelie's boyfriend to control more than one?" Malgath asked curiously.
"I'm not sure, do you know Diva Lorelie and Diva Rowena?" Kasumi asked.
"Nope," Rowena replied.
"Afraid not," Lorelie replied.
"I can't wait to find out, Adam always shows us the most amazing things," Tephe said excitedly.
"Notice, because of the limitations of your current neuro implant, you will only be able to control a maximum of three micro-fighters," Spector replied.
"That's fine. Can you handle the others as well as pilot the ship?"
"Of course."
"Good," Adam replied before he got into a more comfortable position in his chair and said, "Activate Spector Unit Four Micro-fighters."
"Affirmative."

The chair Adam was sitting in suddenly leaned back as a leg rest appeared, raising his legs just like when Spector Unit 6 had activated its NDS system.
Adam's eyes closed, and the next thing he knew was that he was floating in a black space that was soon filled with stars and ships firing at Spector.
A moment later, a hidden compartment opened on Spector's underside and a missile rack appeared before six missiles shot out.
As the missiles got clear of Spector, they suddenly split down the middle before breaking open to reveal miniature versions of space fighters that looked similar to Spectre and were about two meters in length.
"What on Solarian Prime is that?" Malgath asked in surprise as he saw the micro-fighters.
"I guess it's Spector Unit Four Micro-fighters. I will be interested to see how they fare, especially now that the six vs one has turned into a six vs seven." Kasumi remarked with a smirk.
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): What's that supposed to be? It looks like a remote control aeroplane or something.]

The six micro-fighters formed up in an arrow shape, with one of them being directly behind the front one, which Adam's perspective focused on as his vision hovered over it.
Six small icons shaped like the micro-fighters appeared in the top left of his vision to represent their status, while a radar-type circle appeared in the top right, highlighting what the combined sensors of Spector and the six micro-fighters detected. Friendly ships were in blue and enemy ships were in red.
"Can you determine which ship is the leader?" Adam asked.
"Affirmative. Their communications are encrypted, however I can determine that this ship is most likely the leader of the group, judging by the amount of communication traffic it is sharing with the other ships," Spector replied as one of the large-class ships suddenly had a golden outline around it.
"Good, we're leaving that one for last."
"Oh, what's this? Does Diva Lorelie's boyfriend have something planned for the leading enemy ship?" Malgath asked to build the audience and viewers' excitement even more.
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): My money is on him trying to disable the ship and board it.]
