"What do you think will be our next course of action ?"
The heads of the four families are discussing the matter related to the disguised demon king which had appeared in the main base city . They all had different plans to forward the matter but the one who gave the most safest and effective plan was surprisingly Ayaka Karuisawa .
"I think we should first consider the evacuation of the city" said Ayaka
"Do you think that using the evacuation tunnel will solve everything ? The demon king is disguised as a human and he can easily pass through the checking and enter the tunnel" said Koji Ichinose
"It will not be as easy as you think it is" replied Ayaka
"Ayaka . Explain your plan in detail" said Kiyoshi
"Its simple . Demon's have a trait which is different from humans . That is their possession of 'demonic energy'"
"You are saying that we detect the demonic energy of the people and let them pass ?"
"Not quite . I say we deploy the checking to the people who can see or sense demonic energy"
"How can it be possible to see demonic energy ?" asked Koji
"Wait Koji-san . I think there is one person who can see it"
"Who ?"
"Kaito"
"Your grandson ?"
"Yes . He possess the artifact our family had kept in store for centuries"
"You mean he was suitable with the artifact ?"
"I do"
"But , even if he can see demonic energy , so what ? He is just a mere SS-Rank"
"True but stronger than any SS-Rank and his power is almost close to SSS-Rank"
"How is that possible ?"
"To answer this question , I need to say something which is a detail Kaito doesn't want to spread"

"I am not certain but I guess he can atleast injure him"

"Why are you asking such a obvious question ?"
"Then , you should trust the younger generations . After all , they will be the ones to succeed us"

"I guess it won't hurt to give Kaito a chance" said Yuta Ayakouji who was silently listening to the others.
"Urgh!!! Fine but if he messes up then the duty falls on us" said Koji
"That's without a question" replied Kiyoshi
"Then , its decided . The evacuation announcement will be made tommorrow"
-THE NEXT DAY-
Kaito was summoned to Kiyoshi's study early in the morning . He entered as he saw his grandfather was busy doing some work . He saw Kaito as he closed the book and placed his hands with intertwined fingers on the book .
"I heard you called me"
"That's right . I have a duty for you"
Kiyoshi explained everything to Kaito as well as explained him about his duty . Kaito quietly listened to every detail as he shook his head . Kiyoshi expected Kaito to either deny the plan or revolt against it but Kaito didn't say any word against the duty . Well , if Kaito did what Kiyoshi thought he would do , he had to think again before making Kaito the family heir . After all , the family heir of the strongest family wasn't a title given to someone without guts and cool head .
Kaito confirmed some vital details with Kiyoshi which he felt he needed to know to perform the duty he was given . Kiyoshi understood Kaito's intentions as he gave all answers . Among them the most important question was the evacuation tunnel .
It was a tunnel which was spread throughout the underground around 1 km deep . It connects all the base cities throughout the continent and used as a evacuation route for the safety of civilians . This tunnel not only serves as a connecting path but it can also serve as a shelter for people with food and water present in large amounts . The tunnels also have the mechanism to close a safety gate after a certain checkpoint . These walls are made with the strongest metal in the modern wall and even a demon king will need atleast 10 minutes to break it .
This tunnel was built by the humans around a 1000 years ago with making it stronger and stronger with each century of knowledge and modern inventions .
Kaito understood everything as he also started making a plan in his head . He asked Kiyoshi that if he can take a team with him which Kiyoshi agreed . After all , he doesn't expect Kaito to fight against a demon king in a 1v1 . He left the room as the door closed .
Kaito had already decided the team he would make to perform the plan . He would bring everyone he knows from the 4 families . That includes Kendo , Akane , Kaori , Yuuki and also Akari . His plan was almost perfect . It they work this way then the number of casualities will also decrease .
Kaito had called everyone and explained the plan . They all agreed to help him . The time of the announcement was set at 11 a.m. which was 3 hours from now . Kaito advised everyone to train themselves for 2 hours and take a one hour rest because today's fight will be a blood boiling one .
He and Akari went to the training hall to train . Kaito's training himself for a month was fruitfull as his body was moving exactly as he wanted with almost negligible extra movements . Kaito had the help of the system . This not only provides him with better understanding but also gives him some advice and insights to perfect his body . This system was a master in itself .
Around 10 a.m when they were drenched in sweat did they stop training . They both had spar against each other again and again as they increased their synergy . It was all but a last effort . They couldn't afford to show any weakness in front of the demon king . They took their one hour rest . Kaito went to his room and entered the meditative state . The best way to rest the body is to do mana training , this was a fact that Kaito learned from his sister .
-11 A.M-
Kaito and his team were ready . They had worn the combat suits given by the family . These were special to the ones the academy provided . With the unique look of each and every suit the amplification rate was also higher than the ones the academy provided .
It also meant that increasing the syncronization rate with these suits were equally difficult . Kaito raised his sync rate to 68 % in the academy but this time his rate didn't increase more than 60% . Well , it wasn't like Kaito used all his energy anyway . He limited the rate which he absorbed the suit's energy . Akari had a whole lot more sync rate which was of 69% . Akari's sync rate with the academy suits were more than 75% so this was a drop for her as well .
They all gathered in their meeting spot before heading towards the gates . Everyone was surprised to see the blindfold on Kaito's eyes . Akari explained the others the purpose of them . No doubt about it that with the blindfold , Kaito looked more attractive than he normally does . Well , the pattern on the black blindfold which was in gold gave a elegant and royal look to it .
Kendo went towards him and gave him a slight push on his elbow .
"Bro , please . Don't become more attractive and take all the girls away from us"
"Kendo . As far as I remember , you have a fiancee"
"Oh..Um…Right , I have one"
"Correct and I don't . So…."
"Alright . You managed to convince me"
"Good"
Kaito and Kendo joked for a few more seconds before Kaito's face turned serious . He explained the others about his plan and the formation they will use against a demon king . The most difficult part of dealing with a demon king or any being in the SSS-Rank will be their domain .
Awakeners who have reached SSS-Rank can possess a domain according to their attribute . The domain is a place in which the caster is the king . He can change and manipulate his domain with just a single thought . Demon Kings are also the same . They also possess domains according to ranks .

Domains aren't common either . Most SSS-Rank have the highest chance of possessing an Low-Tier Domain or Mid-Tier Domain . While High-Tier Domain and above are in the realm of geniuses . The most rare are the Mythic Tier Domain . Throughout history only 5 people had obtained the Mythic Tier Domain .
Kaito was sure that the domain of a demon king would be most likely in the High-Tier . It would be too difficult if he deployed it . Although Kiyoshi can break the domain because he has a Perfect-Tier Domain but the others are also High-Tier . In current date , only Kiyoshi Sakura and Shizui Shimuzu who possess the Perfect-Tier Domain . He heard that his father also possessed a Perfect-Tier Domain but he doesn't remember much .
Kaito continued his plan as they approached the gate and the time of scheduled evacuation . At exact 11 A.M., all the announcement speakers throughout the base city had the notice of immediate evacuation . All the people became confused as to the sudden announcement . They all went towards the entry gate of the evacuation tunnel .
The awakeners in order of guarding the city were handling the evacuations . Kaito and his team were in a higher place overseeing the evacuation . Kaito had removed his blindfold as his eyes scanned through each and every person . He didn't see anyone suspicious . The others were looking towards Kaito with surprised looks except Akari who had already seen her brother without blindfold many times . The look of surprise was actually common as the crystal blue eyes which were glowing and the slight blue veins in the corner of his eyes made Kaito look like a being from legends .
Kaito didn't pay attention to the glances as he lifted his left arm and pointed two fingers upwards and turned them towards the crowd . It was a signal which meant 'Stop looking at me and focus on the people' . Kaito was sensing some uneasy feeling as he looked more intensely . He noticed a man which wasn't the one he saw last time . He was emitting slight amount of demonic energy . The man had a evil grin on his face . Kaito was sure that was their target . Humans can't have demonic energy . He was about to move when he felt another sensation . He looked towards that direction and saw another man with the same features . The evil grin and the light demonic energy . Then he sensed another and another and another .
The amount of people with the same features reached a number of ten . Everyone looked at Kaito as they were unsure about his confused look . Akari asked
"What's the matter , Kai ?"
"There are more than 10 people with demonic energy"
"What ?" exclaimed everyone
"It is impossible . Does that mean there are 10 demon kings ?"
"No , there is only one" said Kaito with a better look than just 2 seconds ago
"How do you know ?"
"Because this is the ability of the 69th Demon King , Belros"
"Belros ? No way , you mean 'King of Puppets' ?"
"Exactly"
